Solenoid getting super hot on foam brush running itself .

Is this a new problem since you started having problems with your Presoak leaking? Do you have a voltmeter? If you don't have one you need to get one. Start by turning the rotary switch out in the bay to Stop, then start checking for voltage at your solenoid valve working your way back to the...

    HP hoses fittings

Sounds to me that that clown didn't know what he was doing, but then again most service companies don't really know what they are doing.

    Multi use bay soap

I use JBS Fonic wash for both my High Pressure soap and for my Foam brush. I do mix them in separate tanks with a little bit of Simoniz Correct added at the Hydrominder to give the product a little more kick. I use Simoniz Correct as our Presoak.

Pre soak soap leaking for self bay gun .

The coil of the solenoid must be installed onto the stem of the valve. The coil on the solenoid valve will get warm when solenoid valve is energized/On. They should not get so hot that you can't put your hand on the coil. Are you sure you are working on the Presoak system and not on the Foam...

Pre soak soap leaking for self bay gun .

What a frigging mess! All the tubing the same color. You've never said if the Flo-Jet pump for the Presoak is cycling?

    Im tired

We tried pulling the garbage cans and the customers would just stack there crap on the vac island or toss it on the ground. After about 6 month we put them back in.

Pre soak soap leaking for self bay gun .

When was the last time you clean out your chemical tank? Do you have a strainer on the discharge from your chemical tank? I suggest something like this https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-111-smc-5732290-white-nylon-inline-strainer-with-clear-bowl-1-2in-80-mesh-screen.aspx Also disassemble the new...

    Vac motors - 120 or 220v

Why would you want to go to a 220 volt motor instead of 110 volt motor on your vacuums? I'd go with the industry standard of 110 volt.

What Kleen Rite IBA/SelfServ Chemicals Have You Been Happy With?

What premium soap products do you recommend? We don’t have a chemical rep here anymore. We’ve used some of the Kleen rite concentrated self-serve products and found them to be less than desirable. The biggest problems we had were separation and jelling issues.

    HP hoses fittings

I’ve seen some real abortion hose assemblies come out of these so called hose shops or equipment distributors. When I was a young apprentice part of my 5 year apprenticeship was working in a hose shop for 6 months. We made every hose you could ever imagine.

    HP hoses fittings

You better have a come'n to Jesus meeting with whoever you got your hoses from because the ends shouldn't be coming off if the hose weren't properly made up. I use this reusable fitting for a field repair...

    Bay running rough

You don't necessarily have to use new fittings. I've got a couple of pails of fittings I reuse from time to time, I never use galvanized steel fittings on anything. I use Leak lock on the fittings when I have a problem. Can you post a couple of pictures of what your dealing with?

    Swipe @ The Bay

The best thing you can do is rip out the swipe and clean card system. Replace the 1034 timers with Dixmor LED-6 timers and install a Cryptopay Tap and pay 2 system.

    Bay running rough

Try swapping the head off of another bay pump and see if the problem goes with the head. It sounds to me like you have a small leak somewhere.

    Cat 310 Re-Plum Update

This is how we do our pumping systems. We feed the pumps with reduced city water pressure to make the pumps draw in chemical. The only tanks we have are small chemical tanks. This system is 42 years old, I just keep repairing it.
