    vac nozzles

Over the years I’ve tried just about every vac nozzle there is. They either stole them, took them off, we tried riveting them on the hose and they cut the hose just above the vac cuff. Now we use a VAA-20 vac cuff and I can’t remember when I last lost one...

    Hamilton Bill validator repair

The STA is no longer supported by Hamilton, I believe it was around 2012 they stopped building the STA validators. The problem now is there are no parts available for the STA. For a $100 you probably got belts installed. The Mei/Cpi kit is a no brainier to install, I've sold a lot of them over...

    Cat310 Pump Pressure Adjustment

If you use a 1505 or 1504 nozzle it'll give your customers the impression that they are getting a lot more pressure because of the narrower spray pattern.

    Cat310 Pump Pressure Adjustment

That’s not a Cat 310 pump it looks like a 5CP2120 pump. The procedure for adjusting the pressure is the same, to increase the pressure turn the brass nut clockwise and to lower the pressure turn the nut counter clockwise. When I adjust the pressure, I have my helper hold the handle on the gun...

I've repaired a lot of AE2612 validators. I just repaired 6 for one our Forum friends and they work perfect. Which Model Talos are you using? You should be using a T612-U3 model. They should work if your programing them correctly.

    Need help with MEI

After a Mei/Mars validator has been in service for a number of years the capacitors on the main board become weak and this causes the validator to have acceptance issues or not accept at all. You never know when they are going to fail It might be 2 year or 5 years. The same thing with LED TV's...

    Motor pulley came loose

On the motor there is a key way and on the pulley there is a key way. Once you install the pulley on the motor shaft you insert a square key into the key way to keep the pulley from turning on the motor shaft, to lock everything together you have a set screw in the motor pulley that you tighten...

    It looks like it's 3/8", I think I'd just use a 3/8" brass Tee.

    Need help with MEI

The AE2000 validator bill boxes have to be on the validator for the validator to work. The box has a clear prism at the front bottom of the bill box, this prism has to be intact for the validator to work. By telling me that the validator will accept money but not pay out is telling me that...

Has anyone done a 5CP bearing replacment?

That's what I do Greg. When a pump crankcase goes bad I don't bother with changing the bearings or the rods I swap out the crankcase. I've got one now that's over 40 years and it's got a rod knocking.

    Flojet Conversion

Flo Jet G57 pumps are a good pump for foam brush. For Presoak and Tire cleaner I'd go with a Procon pump controlled with by MX-8 multiplexer. They'll last a longer than a Flo Jet pump when using high PH chemicals if they are installed correctly.

Flojet air pump signs of going bad

It takes me about 2 minutes to change a Flo Jet pump. I have a ball valve on my chemical tank that I close and a ball valve on my air supply to the pump that I close and the Flo Jet pump is mounted on a quick change bracket...

    Belt Drive Removal

Do what Pat has said and run a tap into the holes, you don't want to strip out the treads in the hub. Before you try pushing the sheave off hub spray the hub with Kroil or PB Blaster. When you use the bolts to remove sheave from the hub alternate from one side to the other as you push it off...

    ACW-4 retrofit for Nayax

By removing the regulator it increases to voltage to the display. The Red Cyrytopay display also has a library of words built into it that could be confusing the Nayax reader.
