It looks like there may be a "stub shaft" between the motor and the gear reducer. The parts are at a motor shop now and i just shared this link with them. Im not sure how difficult it is to get this part.

Thank you Buckeye Hydro, I did see this but mine is a 460v. I talked to an electrician about converting but the controller is 460v so he’s not confident that it’s possible.
Well I got a quote of $4000 for a new operator. Anyone have any suggestions? It almost looks like there is a sacrificial shaft between the motor and the gear reducer but without an exploded view or a machine shop I’m really not sure.
Does anyone have experience with these doors? It appears that the shaft where the motor connects to the gear box has sheered off. I am not sure if the motor could be salvaged by getting that piece of the shaft out. I am also not sure what could have caused this other than a faulty shaft. When I...
It seems like a silly design because its a lot of weight hanging from where it threads in and where it threads in is a thin wall. Mine cracked. Does anyone have a used one that they would like to sell, or has anyone replaced this part with something else that works better or is more cost effective?
Parts are very hard to find. But WET still has some laying around. The ports on the valves get debris in them and then it floods the utility room. Or the solenoids go bad all the time and nothing will come out in the bay. It. Breaks. Constantly. I’d be happy with this guys old setup if he’s...
What are you doing with the old setup? Asking for a friend....I'm the friend. this is the setup i have the truly needs replacing. I hate it with my soul.
I'm thinking its more likely an inefficiency in something else. This bill was eye opening. We will be looking for the problem and hopefully find it asap
we have two touch free and three SS, and i don't feel I'm washing a respectable amount of cars is my concern. I'm worried there is an issue with my RO. if the membranes are bad would a higher percentage go to waste? It looks like we washed 1050 cars that month which is only 35 per day.
We have a few locations so I do have some comparison and i think i already know the answer to this. But do these water and sewer rates seem insane? Is anyone else paying this much?
Haha, no hard feelings. I was guessing sarcasm. We are working on isolating it, the valves are a bit crunchy so we are contemplating turning them. Its unfortunately definitely in concrete somewhere. I just need to make a friend with a thermal camera. If i had that, i wouldn't be opposed to...
No part of me expected passive income. And it hasn't disappointed. 7 locations sort of exacerbates the issues. But we are determined to work through it. I'm not posting on here to complain, just to avoid the same mistakes that others have already learned from.
You nailed it washnshine. I guess i just have to trust in the process. But worrying is what I do best. Id feel a whole lot better if we got a nice heavy snow to bring on the slush. I feel like Rochester used to get big storms, but I could just be remembering it as a kid.
I'm told by some other local owners that mid December is when it starts in our area. We still seem to be in the doldrums of November, September and October were not to bad and then November was terrible. I am just far enough east of Buffalo that we have not had any real snow yet and they just...
