I have a Ryko Signature Series pump stand from 2009 that I am working with at a wash I just purchased.
The current issue that I am working on is water pushing back into the tanks which dilutes the products. This unit has a HP soap tank, HP clear coat conditioner tank and HP wax conditioner...

You were absolutely right about the buildup. Some of the fittings were clogged almost solid, I am amazed anything was coming out at all. Cleaned up most of the Tees and 90s and replaced some hose now everything is working much better!
Thanks again
David
Thank you! That is exactly the information I was looking for.
I will check out those hoses. Some of the nozzles were clogged solid from the Rainshield product so I imagine the hoses have a build up as well.

I just purchased a wash with a 10 year old Ryko SoftGloss. This is not a machine I am familiar with so I am trying to get up to speed. It has a few issues that need to be corrected to get a quality wash.
Does anyone know what size spray tips are supposed to be on the machine? Most of them...
There are at least 2 versions of Microcoin brackets. Maybe you have the older one? Not sure when they changed. Typically the issues we have are alignment related. After removing a jam, we don't always get the acceptor reinstalled correctly. When we fix that, we won't have any problems...
If I had to do one or the other, monthly autobilling plans would be far more valuable. Rewards are nice but I think customers can burn out on them. Monthly memberships are valuable because it flattens the revenue for car washing, a rainy month doesn't hurt as bad if you have a nice...
I think maybe you are selling the Petit wash short. I had a Vector and the Petit machine is nothing like it. It has two big red or blue arms but that is the only similarity. It moves around the car differently, the oscillating nozzles are different, it can turn off nozzles for smaller...
On board drying slows down the wash significantly. With the right chemistry and dryers I can get just as good or better with drive through dryers. I have drive through at one location and on board at another. Future installs will always be drive through
I have a Laserwash 360 (not Plus) and a Razor Edge. My preference is the Razor. If you have to do onboard drying, you can combine your final wax and rinse into one pass with the Razor so I think it negates the flash dry advantage. If you can do drive through drying, do it.
I think the...
If you went back about 10 years, you could write that exact comment but switch MEI and Coinco and it would be true. We swapped all our acceptors from Coinco to MEI because Coincos were getting strung like crazy. Are you referring to the Coinco Vantage? That came out after the stringing...
We tried it (more than 5 years ago) and had a rash of hydraulic hose failures. Maybe completely unrelated, maybe just a compatibility issue with the hoses we use, I don't know but we stopped using it.
We use Aquablue, expensive but when we returned to Aquablue the hose failures went back to...
As an operator, I know the pain of not being able to find the problem. They are frustrating days!
I dont think I agree with Randy on swapping out the Unitec for a Hamilton. I have 3 WS2s. One will celebrate its 20th birthday this year, one is 17 and one is 14. They have been solid...
I have a Laserwash 360 with a HTCK4050S General pump. It is leaking water out of the bottom of the pump. Does anyone have an experience rebuilding them or is it better to replace completely?

Unfortunately, there is a lot of stuff on their website that isn't in the catalog so I find myself on the website a lot. Hopefully this is just new site issues and they can get things worked out so it is faster.

My first clue that it was an old thread was the BigLeo response. My first thought was "I thought he sold his wash" then I checked the date. This is a classic.
Of course they are board mounted...
I didn't think about swapping and changing programming. I actually have an unused package slot that I can use.
Thanks
I have an occasional issue where my WS2 will accept payment but the signal to the inbay never gets sent. It seems to happen only on one wash package. I know it isn't an issue with the wiring or the inbay automatic.
Is there a relay or something in the WS2 that could be failing?
David
I have 2 Ginsan RO systems, both are about 20 years old. I have no complaints at all. They have been reliable with no major issues. One supplies a busy 4 bay with two fairly busy automatics, the other one is a 5/1 with average volume.
