Are there any positive people here?

This forum is also similar to review sites. People are louder when they have a bad experience. On the rare occasion that a wash works perfectly all weekend, every inbay does 100+ cars per day and the income rolls in we don't talk about it. But when the automatic breaks down on a Friday...

    Anyone use Hydraflex Evo?

Each bay has a separate injector for each product. The pic my tire cleaner panel before I installed it. The injectors connect to the quick connects at the bottom then the lines from the injector go to each bay. This is for my 4 bay SS

    Anyone use Hydraflex Evo?

I guess I should have been more specific. The system uses the Dema Rocket injector, not Mix Rites. It is fed by a pump creating consistent pressure and higher pressure than a flojet.

    Anyone use Hydraflex Evo?

I don't have the Hydraflex version but I installed similar system from Innovate It. It uses the Dema injectors and has a complete control system. It supplies our presoak, bug remover, tire cleaner, foam brush, triple foam, and low pressure wax. Our customers love it and are definitely...

How come you guys haven’t told me about this?

I agree, discovering pass through connectors has made life a lot easier. How is that klein tool for stripping cat6? That seems to be my biggest issue now, getting a quick easy strip without cutting into the twisted pairs. Does anyone have a recommendation on getting watertight...

Hello Carwash version of the SharkTank

Did the seller accept your offer? I'm not too far from Muncy, saw it come up for sale and did a drive by but just a little too far away from us. If you buy it and have any questions, feel free to message me.

AutoLaundry News Proforma - is it realistic

Not useful for what you are trying to do. First, that survey is not a representative sample. Second, an individual location is impacted by a wide variety of factors. Location, competition, demographics, and maintenance all play a big role.

    Newbie Needed Advise & Guidance

Sounds like a bad idea. Minor issues are major when they require 5 hours of travel to fix. I can't imagine a 2 bay SS generating enough revenue to hire an attendant and be profitable. Unless there are unusual circumstances, I wouldn't bother. David

New Washify Pay Station for IBA's

How is the install coming? I visited Ohio and checked out Dencar. I like what they are doing. I would love to hear about your experience. David

    New autocashier

They are arcade buttons, you can get a six pack on Amazon for about $10. I haven't heard of this being a common problem.

    New autocashier

Does anyone know of a EMV (chip) reader that doesn't require the customer to select CC on the screen? As far as I know, this has more to do with the EMV readers than it does Hamilton or anyone else. I was just at a car wash with DRB and it was the same. It also isn't that much of an issue...

    Prep Gun Advice

We have been using this one for about 2 years: https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-60831-mecline-mv925-easy-pull-trigger-8-gpm-spray-gun-non-weep-4500-psi.aspx They have been durable and comfortable to use. David

Alternative Use for Automatic Car Wash

Before I converted it to something else, I would make sure you have exhausted your options to make it a successful wash. Why isn't it getting used? Too much competition? Customers not impressed? Not cleaning cars? Equipment broke down too often? Unfortunately, there are not a lot of...

    Car Wash Scents

For those of us without chemistry backgrounds, can you elaborate? What levels are dangerous? How much has to be inhaled to be dangerous? Does the application style matter? I appreciate you bringing up the topic because I have not heard of any potential risks of scented car wash products but...

    Aquamaster Floats sticking

That seems like a possible solution. I extended some of my float chains so that my tanks weren't as full all the time. I'll try going back to the short chain. David

    Pit-y the fool

Lots of variables. When I was a kid my dad paid me to clean pits with a bucket and a shovel. One of the pits was large with a manhole cover that required getting down into the pit to clean it. That was not a lot of fun but after watching Dirty Jobs, it is not the worst job ever, it may not...

    Aquamaster Floats sticking

Has anyone had issues with Aquamaster floats sticking open? I don't know if that has ever happened with my Hydrominders but I have had 3 aquamasters stick wide open. Just wondering if anyone else had the same experience. Planning to switch to Hydrominders. David

    Looking to purchase a wash

Your labor, utilities and possibly maintenance and repair look low to me. Turn arounds are often slow. I doubt you are pulling a 200k salary in the first year or two, if ever. If that is your main focus, I would keep looking. If it turns out to be a great site, what keeps a competitor...

    Anyone using CPI card readers?

I think that is the reader that Washify is using on their Swiftpay retrofit doors for Unitec and Hamilton.

    Major life decision

Maybe your inability to find an answer here is your answer. The portfolio owner you are looking for is too busy to hang out here, or he is completely detached from the day to day because he has good regional management and doesn't have to go looking for answers to day to day problems. I...
