Been using the 1" Walters on my LW 4000. Works fine. Needs to be rebuilt every 6 months or so. On the SS I have had a Jobe Topaz since September. This one seems to be working well too.
Gents,
Thanks for the advice. Sorry for the slow response time. I swapped out my HP check and weep check. Hopefully that resolves the issue. I put a whole new seal kit in this one pump about 5 months ago. I am thinking it is a check and not the seals. Thanks again. Happy new year!
So, : ).
I have been noticing that a few of my CAT pumps are having issues coming up to pressure when I arrive at the wash first thing in the morning. Here is what I know. Perhaps someone can offer some advice.
1) The weep mizer has been on for a month or so. Could it be the cold weather...
Hello,
I am writing to see if anyone has a solution to XRS vinyl windows panels that have become foggy. I have tried many cleaning solutions with to no avail. My door have not been used during the summer and fall months, and came down foggy after months of no use.
Thoughts?
Gearhead,
Thanks for the advice. I did put a wireless temp gauge in the trough at the end where it meets the IBA bay. Today we officially reach the teens. I am going to keep an eye on the temps. All is going well for now. Thanks for your help!
Yeah, I think you understand my dilemma.
First things first. With two doors, floor heat and the LW 4000 cycle weep to ambient bay temp, I should be good with no freeze ups? I am cautious : ).
Also, how do you have the blown down setup? Curious how that works. Thanks!!!
Hello,
I live in west Michigan where the winters are schizophrenic to say the least. I have a LW 4000 about 40 feet from my equipment room, well insulated trough with heat tape(3 watt I believe)floor heat(though an under sized boiler, but keeps ice from forming) and air lift doors.
I was...
Thanks for the advice all!
$20 for a regulator assembly, and some spare part and I have a transfer pump. I needed the regulator because my air comp. hook up is on the 100-120psi side of things. The regulator does a nice job controlling flow. The 1/4" ball valve acts a a shut off. It works great.
Cool. I am sick of checking tire pressure. : )
Do you think the extra diamond plate on my rails will be an issue? Also, did you drive some screws through the rims to prevent slippage?
Thanks a ton!
How do they work in cold temps? I've heard they slip? I have diamond plate welded to my rails. Do you think the extra thickness would be problematic i.e. Burning motors, slipping etc. thanks!
