Also, with the fleets. Once an account is tied to a fleet, the default is for all their transactions to be charged to the fleet. However, we have also built in a mechanism for the customer to use their account for non-fleet activity. Say they use the system to wash their squad car, but also...
Okay, this might get a bit lengthy....
Our fleet tools are pretty cool. Once the fleet owner has an account (downloads the app and creates and account like everyone else). You would go to the web portal and assign that account as a fleet owner. Now the owner can manage the fleet themselves or...
Just some more food for thought. The QR code approach seems valid, but of the thousands of transactions we process on a daily basis, we really have not seen selecting the incorrect bay as an issue.
Hello Waxman,
Touch4Wash does not use QR codes for our services to work. Simply tap buttons and off you go. If you would like I can create a demo account for you to give it a try. If you are interested, simply DM me your cell and I will get it setup.
Hope this helps.

TJ,
You can do all those items but the LPR with the Touch4Wash system and not have to upgrade the paystations. Could save you some big bucks. I am one of the owners. Just let me know if you would like more info.

Old thread I stumbled across here. We have a customer that is looking to switch from this system and use our fleet management tools. Did you ever find an alternative solution that worked for you?
For what it is worth, here is a snip from an article we wrote a while back about memberships at self serve car washes. Don't take offense to the simple math. The point is that the right level of memberships helps offset the fixed cost of the business. I've heard it said the the most expensive...
Quick reflection that I hope some of you will resonate with...
I was talking with an operator the other day. We were reflecting on all the knowledge required to run a successful wash. Electrical, plumbing, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, construction, customer service, management, HR...
Not sure if this helps or complicates, but I posted this example on another thread that details how a loyalty program might compare with an unlimited program.

Hey Zal,
As with any system the more you are engaged the more success you can have. The system does have a nice feature we call the ATR (Automated Text Response). If you simply text "free wash" to 309-533-7992 to see the response that gives people instructions on how to get the app and sign...
Also, you can limit the membership programs. We have customers that set limits for each 30 day. For example they will allow 1 wash per day and 8 washes per 30 days. So it is practically unlimited, but not.

Waxman,
The Touch4Wash system has the ability to offer a loyalty program (buy X number of washes and get 1 free). If you combine that with the "Prepaid" credit options, then you are offering a very similar approach to a membership while maintaining close to full price. I say close to full...
