Here's one example of what the Bible says about being armed:
Luke 22:36
“Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.”
There are others, but that should do.
Figuring 20' per car including space between cars, 34 seconds per 20 feet does work out to 105.8 cars/hour. That would be absolute max production capacity of course...
I couldn't say if it came as a part of the SpinLite equipment package or if it was an add-on, sorry. I just stopped by to see a SpinLite system in operation in a real car wash. Dan from Pro-Tech was the distributor on the job, he could probably answer your questions. I don't know his direct...
The Spinlite system I saw at a new wash in El Paso a couple of weeks ago had an undercarriage wash manifold, looked just like the other Belanger undercarriage manifolds I've seen. Pretty sure it was the same as this one http://www.belangerinc.com/undercarriage-manifold
You'd be surprised how easy it is to open most pad- or combination- locks. Google "open lock with pop can" or "lock bumping" for just a couple of examples.
I've always thought that paint finish style looked terrible - one step above primer - and if not done properly it looks even worse!
That said, it might cause a resurgance in touchless tunnels as well as SS / touchless IBAs if it becomes popular enough.
Not to turn this into a political thread, but the bigger problem with minimum wage and the economy is that many unions have clauses in their contracts that automatically raise their pay scale proportional to any minimum wage increase, so a 10% increase in munimum wage (say from $7.00 to $7.70...
I doubt you are allowed to store swipes and be PCI compliant - that said, I don't know if the Wash Select II credit card clearing is PCI compliant as-is so it may not matter much...
Why do you say IE 9 is an antique? IE 9 is the current version of IE for Windows 7 and Vista, so unless you are running Windows 8, which comes with IE 10, you can't get anything newer. Are you thinking of IE 6 perhaps?
Be sure to factor in the additional wear and tear on the equipment involved. Solenoids, relays and other equipment are often rated in number of cycles, so going from 1 cycle per car to 10 cuts the life of the relay or solenoid to 1/10th of its expected lifespan when measured in number of cars...
They were probably referring to the thin, hard coating of aluminum oxide that forms quickly on the surface of aluminum when exposed to the air. I don't know if HF will remove that coating, but I suppose it could. However, that coating will re-form quickly too, but I suppose when exposed to the...
And the "Understatement of the Year" award goes to (drum roll please!)...
Waxman!
But seriously, why would anyone think it was a good idea, especially in today's modern cars with so much electronics and eleictrical controls?
Yes, you can position a switch (I've seen both limit and eyes used, though I like the eye approach best) such that it detects rollers as they pass so your controller can know when to bring up a roller. It depends on the controller though, some can use that kind of switch and others can't.
