The liability should be on the person operating the vehicle that stopped. The following vehicle is under control of the conveyor and should have no liability. As to the wash operator, on the one hand, they didn't cause the incident so they shouldn't be held liabe, but it is pretty standard in...
4K cameras use a *lot* of bandwidth, and as IP cameras are going to be sensitive to network and cabling issues. What grade cabling did you run? I would think CAT5e would be a minimum, but CAT6 preferred. Also, the POE switch needs to be gigabit and a good brand (I prefer Cisco gear), and...
My car also comes out soaking wet at the wash with Spinlite equipment near me - my car comes out very clean, just wet. Unlike your experience, the brushes at this wash don't slap the car nearly as hard/loud compared to other local washes with traditional materials & rotation speeds so I'd have...
As I understand it, what you are feeling isn't a film, it is the alkalinity converting some oils/fats to soap. It's the same process as making lye soap.
When you set it up you provide a password that can be used when you log in, the code displayed on the PC is for when someone else needs to log in remotely. I have several PCs (mine and family) that I set up that I log in that way.
The free version is for non-commercial use, and if they detect you are using it for commercial purposes they will flag the account and you'll either have to prove it is for personal use or pay the fee for the commercial version ($50/month).
That's likely the case - but at the same time, many from the West coast don't come to the show when it is in Nashville, Chicago or San Antonio. I suspect in general that Vegas is a higher draw overall but I could be wrong.
Does the Hydrapulse output vary depending on conveyor load? If not, since you've confirmed that you aren't using the auto pulse and have verified your Sonnys Hydrapulse is working properly, it sure looks like the issue is squarely in ICS's court. Please do let us know what the ultimate...
You should not need to do that. If the pulse is working properly and the software is working properly, necessary changes to timing of equipment because of changes to the conveyor speed should be handled automatically. What kind of pulse are you using? Have you enabled Auto Pulse inadvertently...
Call me old-school, but I have never believed that a hydraulic pulse can be as accurate and repeatable as a traditional pulse on the sprocket. I would be inclined to replace the ICS external pulse with a pulse on the sprocket and re-measure the pulse. If that doesn't correct the problem, then...
What happens when any aspect of the business climate changes? You adapt. That might mean adjusting your price point, ensuring you are differentiated from the El Cheapo washes well enough to maintain your current price point and market position, adopting a similar model, and so on. In the mean...
To further expand on what BBE and Jerry said, with good promoting and marketing you should be able to sign up more than 500 members.
Also, many of these members would want more than just the lowest price plan - if the plans are differentiated like your packages most likely are, and are priced...
Optimum chain speed is more a function of equipment package, chemicals, and types of soils more than length of tunnel and type of wash. That is, for any given equipment package, chemical mix, and predominant soils that need to be cleaned there is an optimal chain speed that produces an...
I occasionally hear this, but if you look at attendance numbers, Vegas is by far the biggest draw for any city where the convention has been held. West coast participation in the shows in Nashville and Chicago is weak, and you see similar regional participation trends depending on where the...
I have spoken for myself. As I said, my recommendation stands (or falls) on its merits. If you have something substantive to say, or care to refute my recommendation by showing where it is in error, then by all means do so. In the mean time, please refrain from personal attacks. It certainly...
"On those days a 140 foot tunnel (Not accounting for loading factors) should be able to handle a chain speed of 180 CPH or 1 foot / sec."
Your thinking mirrors mine. I fully expect that if the OP has good equipment and chemicals he will find that chain speed is within its capabilities.
"Please show why this is wrong. I mean if you are going to take a shot at least be able to back it up."
Seems I stepped on someone's toes. I think my recommendation stands on its merits. I don't feel the need to justify it further, especially to someone who appears to want to get into a...
Expected annual volume has exactly *zero* to do with how fast you should run your conveyor. Conveyor speed depends on equipment and chemical package, along with the types of soils you need to clean, and may vary depending on conditions.
What you are looking for is the best speed you can run...
cebo has it right. Everyone is crying that the sky is falling, but this just puts the Internet back to where it was two years ago. Were ISPs charging money for access to specific types of network services or sites two years ago? No. Were they throttling access to Google, Facebook, Twitter...
