Just had a ModWash open near me in MD. Their website says they will have 54 locations by end of 2021 up and down the East coast. They spent a $hit ton of money on this location. They must have deep pockets, and know something I do not.
Water/sewer at $10.77/1000 gallons it not too bad. A properly working & maintained reclaim should yield results no different than virgin water. Like John asked, how and where was it streaking?
cantbreak80---Did you just make those enclosures by cutting the hole in?? That is amazing for only 15 bucks! And these have been reliable for you, I would guess? Thanks very much for the link.
td- I am not sure. I did not order one since the LTT is working for now; I just found it on the KR website as a replacement for the LTT. I have an rc800 programmer. If I ever have to order it, I will let you know.
So I found there is a direct replacement for the little two timer from IDX. It is the IDX GT200 for $255. Easier than re-wiring to accommodate the Dixmor unit.
But at the moment I actually do not need it. Everyone should try this fix when a component will not work:
I dropped the timer on the...
SAV-F= Electronic combination super vacuum, turbo vacuum, and three fragrances with bar graph indicator
I think it is listed as FV-3 on their website now. I do not separate the pricing for frag vs vac. It is all just $2 for 6 minutes. I just got tired of people not understanding the...
It is the small one similar to this KR image. Mine does not extend past the metal plate on the right side, though. Already swapped coin acceptor. That is always the first thing to do. When I power back up, it will beep on first coin like it is reading it but nothing displays, then no beeps on...
No removable smart card. This machine is from 1999 or so. Is there a direct replacement from Dixmor? I do not really see one in the KR catalog. Last time I sent something to IDX, it took forever. I see the new part on KR for $426. That is a bit stiff.
The old one I have is not accepting coin...
I do not know why this quarter thing is beat to death on this forum. SWITCH completely to $1 high security tokens and the issue is solved. It also reminds customers to revisit your wash soon, as they have those extra tokens in their cup holder. Or if those tokens "walk" away, that is fine too.
Just got this one, of course after I just order a 3hp motor and paid full price.

Different motors- but yes. I use 101-1011s and 101-1012s. Original equipment motors lasted 6-10 years. Replacements going 1-2 years, Occasionally less than 1 year. By failing for me, I mean leaking oil badly around shaft. (this is on in-bay rollovers)
Oh--I just looked up your 1008. That is...
When I have a clog out on the long runs I do this: I have a 100 ft 1/2 inch 200 psi air/water line. I hook one end to the bottom of my air compressor, the other to the 1.25 inch vac-it-up line (I use pvc 1/2" by 1.25" female adapter, glued in a 1.25" coupling) I attach this fitting to vac-it-up...
I have 7 CAT 623 units in service that were installed in 1974. I have no intentions of replacing, as they work just fine. I just did have one of the Sterling 3 hp motors burn up, though.
I have vac-it-up at 4 locations. I would not build a wash without it. 2 washes have it for bays and vacs, and 2 washes have it for bays only. It is worth the extra money to run it out to vacs.
I give A++. Systems installed since 2000.
Do you have your door switch hooked up?? If your door switch is not hooked up, someone could simply put in the programming code and hit dump to empty out the machine. NEVER unhook or leave unhooked the door switch. I test my frequently to make sure programming code can not be entered while door...
Put a little digital timer on the power supply to the modem. Have it power down for 1 minute at 5 a.m.; there- it is reset. (instead of 15 minutes from mechanical timer)
