Remove cover and check/clean electrical connections in the box. Look for another junction box that may have connections in it. Check connections to the terminal strip in the ECC.
Many tunnels in my area are actually pulling out their SFR systems. They've managed to get the car so dry they don't need them anymore. You'll see a couple of spots in a couple hard to dry places but otherwise the cars are so dry they look fine.
Gotta say, the tunnel segment has continued to...
Sounds like the power supply voltage itself is good and hopefully you found the offending component. Keep an eye on it. I know in the past I’ve removed components I thought were bad and the crashing would stop for a while. But it would come back weeks later. When you first mentioned the change...
That's likely a power supply issue. I very rarely had these problems before cryptopay, but seems like I am dealing with them more and more. But in all fairness these machines are over 20 years old. The easiest place to check voltage is on the six pin plug on the lower left of the I/O board...
Check SFR tank low level float switch.
Check the SFR system fuse, it's one of the fuses below the 6th bay fuse, I think the one directly below it but not 100% sure.
Well technically it's working but not very aesthetic. I would consider looping the regulator bypass line to the opposite side. If built correctly all you have to do is undo a weep line, a discharge and inlet hose and the whole head assembly with all hardware will come off as one piece...
This goes back to aggressive PM. I saw a sign recently on one of the FB groups that said something like "if you don't schedule maintenance on your equipment, it will" Anyway, I'm as guilty as most folks about overlooking things but I'm trying to be better about replacing hoses before they...
If I could find a chemical/ touch free combo that would clean as well I would consider it, but they don't exist. Nothing cleans as well as beating the dirt off the car.
The soft cloth still has it's fans, those that don't want memberships.
Other tunnels were far enough away, 5 miles or so, which can easily be a 20-30 minute round trip with traffic so I think this one is the first major impact I've had.
Well, I did not know that there was a difference between the two stacks. I guess I never tried to wire them differently than I found them.
I use a penetrant occasionally on the stem and changing a switch is a rarity for me.
BTW, Eric, next time you are at Lowe's pick up a can of super slick...
I had an express open a block away from one of my washes in February. I'm down about 20-25%. Not only did it reduce my net income substantially, it's likely cost me several hundred K in resale value just before I'm getting ready to put it on the market. It sucks but it is what it is. The soft...
Just thought I would update on Randy's suggestion. I couldn't find the drive end on the website. KR Part number is PU5CPRA-WP. This also comes with new plungers. Current price is 362.99
Would agree that it's time to think about a reload. I would think about one of each style, soft cloth and touch free. I would consider doing a thorough rehab of the better touch free you have now and add a new cloth auto.
Please upload pictures of your self serve pump station and a door...
OK boomers.
I'm not a fan of unnecessary apps but I can see some value to this. Multiple locations, multiple employees, verification that a deadbeat employee acknowledged they completed the task, combine that with a PM service scheduler. I'm sure there is other things that can be combined...
Uline has some for a little over $100 each. Shipping is going to be the wildcard there.
By the way, I have vacuum islands and use 30 gallon chemical drums as trash containers. I put long rope loops for handles on them. Those babies slide like they are greased, even when there's 100 lbs in them.
Well, I'll start with I think $150/Month is a deal killer for most SS/IBA washes. Most have no more than a handful of employees. Personally I'd pay a little for a shareable checklist type app but I'm down to two employees. If you need that much revenue I think you market is in the tunnel space...
