ahhh I see. Guess my thing is I don’t mind spending the time to make my vaults where they are a royal pain in the a$$ to break into. My thing is I don’t know how these thieves do it, other than taking a torch and prying.
but I do have a few ideas to assist with making things more difficult
Do you have video of what he did? If so could you share with me? I was in the process of ordering but would kill me if I found out some pos broke in shortly after installing.
On the website Custom signs.com
I configured them myself and had it made. Also had some others using vistaprint, which their website seems to be more friendly if trying to make it from your phone.
Is this a JE Adam’s addon for the coin box? And you just fabricated the box on the side? Just curious before I go and spend hours trying to fabricate this outfit.
Went and emptied my change yesterday and saw that someone tried to pry the puck lock that I had on my vacuum. They didn’t do too...
It will aggravate some customers. In May I changed my preauth to $20, I’ve had over 1000 swipes and 11 people have reached out to me via the google number I’ve provided for complaints/concerns. I changed my sign in the middle of August and posted it on my Google Profile. Not once have I had...

These are some really good ideas. I’ve already been looking into getting a plate of stainless and welding it onto the door, while beefing up the locks.
Never thought about one of those smoke detectors. Super cheap and gives me piece of mind.
I’ve actually thought about doing something similar...
For my vacuums, they are set at countdown. $2 charge. No other options. I will say half of my vacuum cc customers swipe twice. My wash bays are the only ones with $20 preauth count up.
Agree. I’m very creative and able to fabricate, but would hate to waste time fabricating something that can be easily defeated by a criminal just bc I think it’s a beast.
I initially started out at $10. However, shortly after was surprised how many people told me they wanted it to be longer so they didn’t have to swipe again. But when I explained the initial “charge” is only a preauth, it will correct the next day. They are usually ok with it.
I filled up my...
