I mean, it might work with whatever demographics you have but I'm like 80-85% cash, pretty sure it wouldn't work for me. Half the time I see someone swipe at my car wash cryptopay denies them cuz they don't got enough in their account.
Same, I've debated getting an awning quite a few times but I also have gotten quite a few laughs at the laundry quarter people in a downpour trying and failing to get quarters. I have a ring doorbell right next to the change machine so I can hear them screaming at the machine as they get...
@Kar B Kleen
I have the same problem, if it's raining my change machine is basically unusable. Seems like if a bill gets hit by a single drop of water it'll get rejected. My acceptors like 5 years old now but I think it's been happening since day 1 as well. I haven't let it bother me too much...
Yeah I agree, the light show brings a lot of people with kids in... I think it increases wash quality perception as well since it looks more technologically advanced.
I liked my Lumen Arch until it got wrecked 8 months ago, WW still hasn't replaced it.. they only send them out to new customers I guess.
Power towers are a YES. I'd maybe only do the 3 nozzle version instead of the 5 though.
I'd say no to Foam N Flow and I have that option.
I'd be worried...
It might be worth calling up this guy: http://www.dogwashsystems.com/dog-wash-park/
Pretty sure he built something custom for a guy around here for his Razor (and it is my understanding it wasn't too outrageous), using the same type of materials he uses for these dog washes.
Valid points on the key safe idea, out of curiosity do these people who are getting their equipment rooms broken into have any other form of security, like alarm systems with motion detection, cameras, etc?
Looks awesome!
@Waxman how do you keep the ice under control on the entrance apron? City made me remove the drain on my exit apron, and its not very long, got ice problems galore back there.
There is a 2 bay Greasemonkey near me that is for sale (also next door to a self service car wash and used to be under the same owner), it's leasing for 30k a year with a 2.5% annual rent increase built into the lease.
I had a pinhole leak on the copper pipe that sends water out for the weep. It's too cold to shut the water off to replace the bad piece of copper and I remembered this post. Only took a couple seconds to tape it up and it stopped the leak, seems like it'll probably hold for as long as I want...
I have the gray wire. I have two sensors plugged into the weepmizer though, was told it would use whatever one reads lower.
I guess I was hoping if my weepmizer that reads the correct temperature ever takes a crap I could just plug in my other weepmizer that reads 5 degrees warm and press a...
Anyone know if there is a way to apply a temperature offset at the weepmizer level? I've seen that you can adjust the sensors but one of my weepmizers is about 5 degrees off and I have 2 sensors connected to it.. when I plug in my spare weepmizer it reads correctly. Do I need to send it in to...
I didn't ask for a sample for that since I'm not offering a ceramic sealant yet, planning to add it as an upsell eventually... but I like the glow foam!
Was it for glow foam w/ ceramic or the ceramic sealant? I received post cards for both.. filled out the form for the glow foam and they called me the next day and shipped me out some samples. Then followed up again with me a couple weeks later to talk about tip sizes and what not.
I don't, but I haven't been too impressed with WW's ability to solve their supply chain issues, been waiting around for a few things since the middle of July.
