I get it that the most security should be on where the money goes ... but where the electronics are ... especially with more sophisticated button faceplates vs rotary faceplates is where the most loss could occur from a criminal. Having said that ... I am wondering how many Self Serve Car Wash...
I thought to avoid any possible confusion ... I would make sure I used the exact P/N & description as the official Fleck Service-Parts breakdown showed in their specific manual that came with our specific 1700 Fleck Brine Assembly System!!!??? 🤷♂️
Good news ... "my go to inhouse repair person mark" went to Ace Hardware & from memory described the brass ferrule & luckily it worked perfect. He has already put that easily installed specific substitute for the Fleck P/N 15415 fitting, insert in place! Ace part # 41291 Comp, Insert 1/2" BRS...
ouch ... the massive amounts of info on that site ... hopefully information overload does not finish me off?
I am not seeing the 1700 Brine Assembly System link within their Fleck link.
Fleck P/N 15415 fitting,insert,1/2",tube & P/N 16123 Nut, Brass fell apart too much so we can't take them to our Local Ace Hdwe to compare & buy local. There is no actual local Fleck dealer that we know of here in Bismarck, ND. We are hoping one or more of this forum's Fleck experts can tell...
We used to use a Suttner sludge sucker to transfer mud from a more shallow pit (the end one that goes directly out to the main) into a larger capacity pit ... to avoid calling the $$$ pit pumper too soon.
I had a Brandt coin counter repair man (a real pro) who had as part of his repertoire of tools a PULSE COUNTER ... I never did get one for myself. Has anybody on the forum invested in one? It seems like it would be a quick way to verify if your problem is in the bill acceptor or the timer...
Greg_T,
Makes sense. I can't help but think that dynamic would change if the waterproof coins of any country were as high as $5 it would open the door to some bigger ticket items such as express car wash & dog wash customers using a $5 coin &/or even higher coin.
Greg T,
Your pics reveal a very do-able operation partially by having your operations outdoors (perfect climate?). Why ... some of us have to resort to designing our facility as a "breeze way" when doors are open &/or charcoal filters to GET RID OF THE EXTREME WET DOG SMELL. I am pretty sure...
If remember correctly ... Mega seller Uncle Sam (now retired) giving me a "heads up" on a technicality of accepting cards on a Mega Vendor. The issue is when the selection would changed from the original higher priced & change would be given back in cash?
MattVerfurth,
Based on our experience with Nat'l Pride's & KR's dog wash injector set up ... when you start having shampoo dispensing problems ... replace all of the low cost vinyl tubing because for perfect sealing you need the tubing to be extra supple. On some shampoos during hot weather...
Rainway & others,
Based on actual long term experience ... you may want to look at a free &/or low cost source database program vs just a spreadsheet. One advantage is when each entry &/or multiple entries are entered .... you do not have to worry about saving the file or risk losing what you...
Not really. I am pretty sure that it was not just the small business population who were buying from "out of state" without worrying about sales tax back in the 90s. In other words IMHO ... equal application of that "use tax" technicality would make very close to 100% of our specific state's...
On vended items in North Dakota OurTown's link applies here also. Mostly "Use Tax" is where we were on the receiving end of a very anti small business auditor back in the late 1990s. At that point, we were forced to set up with a sales tax permit on our vended items which were miniscule...
I also would like to have what MrsOurTown did with setting up a Google Sheets template ... ready to start or slightly tailor to our specific facility. My email is info@kingkoin.com ... if you have trouble via the forum PM or other forum posting process. Thanks in advance.
Our stainless steel 4x40 housing RO spot free system is from 1987. I wonder ... at what point did the car wash industry stop using the 2.5" RO setup???
We are digging out right now with our privately owned & maintained Case 1840 SkidSteer from an unbelievable "high drifts" North Dakota April 3-4 DAYS DURATION SNOW BLIZZARD: You better believe the very much increased price of Diesel Fuel for it ... is not a pleasant experience!
The don't need...
Can Biden-Harris impeachable offenses be made to stick & hold water ... with the mainstream media not fulfilling their role with a "within range moral compass"?
Not reporting all cash can come back to haunt some operators when they want to sell that specific car wash not being able to show a healthy return. Some might even be tempted to find a way to exaggerate the amount of cash if the buyer did not insist on going by actual IRS returns shared?
We...
Since we no longer can look to our OEM installer Specialty Equipment ... we very much hope that Dan from GinSan & Jim from Etowah Valley continue to make sure that our choice with them remain affordable-reliable & not unnecessarily obsolete. If they retire ... hopefully they will have a great...
