Is the cost of running coin changers really more expensive than credit card fees? Dollar coins make life simple except now that the Presidents have all been released they are no longer purely gold in color so we spend time sorting so as not to confuse the customer with the old silver dollars...
Time to change banks! I used to roll for deposit and learned that the teller had to unroll into $1k bags. Now they supply plastic bags and take them in bulk, no charge.
Soon going to dollar coins so hauling quarters should be minimal.

I've been waiting to convert because I was under the impression that CFLs would only run on 120V and This summer we were either going to convert to LEDs at 208 or repower the circuitry to 120. Are there bulbs with 208V ballasts or how do they get configured?
Thanks.

You guys could have weighed in sooner and save me a few bucks! I guess I should have ordered a couple to see how customers responded. My biggest concern was that they would "walk", but no such luck.
The concept is solid, but cheap, foreign, dollar store construction makes them JUNK!
I can attest to the Hypro ceramic nozzles. I actually won a set for an IBA a few years ago and haven't changed them since. They work great! SS got changed annually.

Skipped Vegas last year in favor of Chicago, but expected a later date, both for better weather and less fear of being away during busy times at home. The host hotel was extremely expensive so I booked downtown early through Hotels.com. Tried to shorten the trip by a day and they actually...
Hi, all,
Can anyone tell me what the best way is to achieve the prep gun pump starting when the gun is removed from it's holder and trigger squeezed for use? Necessary components and installation guidance would be helpful, also. The flow switches I've seen in supply catalogs don't give any...
The title is disconcerting........ the car was wrecked AT car wash, not in it. Could have just as easily been caused by a valais at the Ritz.
I washed my first Bentley a couple of months ago. Didn't know what it was until one of the attendants enlightened me. The inside smelled like a saddle...
I've had numerous headaches with metal valves and finally bit the bullet and put in two Jobe high temp, one inch plastic ones. Good results so far, but it's been only six months on each. If you're going to replace, give them a look.
Good luck.

What service level are you trying to accomplish-Quick clean and windows for the budget minded or reconditioning for the aficionado? Regardless of how you approach this (in house or lease), the result will reflect directly on the reputation of your wash. Detailing is a labor of love and it's hard...
Does anyone have operational experience with XPresWash? They seem to be the most budget friendly entrance into the wash pass program and I'm giving them serious consideration.
Any thoughts or comments?
Thanks.

We just installed the Navien 240NPE. So far they are absolutely wonderful. Three units putting out 12gpm total and a 200gal storage tank and constant 120 degreee water with no temp drop on the busiest of days. On slower days only one or two fire as necessary.
Depending on how busy it gets...
