    LW4000 stops when cold

Grease in rollers could be issue. Have you greased lately? Every two weeks if needed or not. Also be sure your running a low temp grease. We use Jet-lube 35050 ( I believe) brand.

    Dixmor Weepmizer – Using Air

We tried years ago,as a test. Seems water likes to run to the lowest point and freeze? We however didn't run constantly.

    exit door motor problems

If this is a rollup style door, airlift does have a cover for them. Not perfect at keeping moisture off the motor but better then nothing. Where I used to work all the doors had the cover, and I only remember one ever shorting out.

    Bridge axles 4000

When you order it from a WW distributor or WW directly, just let them know it's for a LW4000. They will get you the correct parts. We have never had an issue getting the correct parts for the older LWs from Washworld.

Spot Free Production Rate seems low.

Pressure may just need to be higher, also as others asked what was it running before pump change? I'm not familiar with your system, but does it have a "reject flow control valve" it may be wide open. Just a thought..

    Freeze protection on IBA

I should add. On the older ones without the programmable relay as a controller I just use a single blow down. These systems just have a couple timers and a couple relays.

    Freeze protection on IBA

On the high volicitys I purge for 30-35 seconds, wait 45 seconds the hit them with a short 10 second or so purge for a second time. I have never injected any anti freeze into the system. Timing is something to play with however we have 80 gallon tanks on our compressor, if you have smaller may...

    Freeze protection on IBA

thank you for asking. I'm in upper Midwest, and have extremely good luck with our systems. we do run at least one door down at all time, on our bays. on our razors we run both doors down,i have not created a system that will allow us to purge out all the lines on the lava, and then refill when...

    Freeze protection on IBA

We run washworld high volicity and razors. When really cold the bottom one on the arm may freeze some, I also have added a second purge to push out the water that can run down to the bottom nozzle.

    Freeze protection on IBA

I have created air blow down systems for the company's washes. All inverted L style. Been running different variations for twenty years now. First ones were just a couple relays, timers and solenoids, second generations I use a programmable relay. Used both Siemens Logo! And teco brands. you...

Finding good stuff at the wash.

Not sure if this counts as a find. a lady was feeding a dollar coin into one our auto bays , it kept rejecting I thought x10issue. Being in a hurry to fix other auto bay I took her coin and inserted a dollar bill. Later that evening I was unloading my pockets and found the coin not to be a...

    IO cards for ww 1.0

I purchased Allen Bradley parts, I'm guessing more out there then omron in USA. Circuitware was one seller out of Ohio, another was Indiana surplus or something like that. It's been a couple years since I purchased anything. I only use US sellers on used parts, because easier returns, Again...

Pdq laser 4000 lexair valve leak

You may feel something when it pops over, but shouldn't be any air coming by after the "pop". As long as it's doing its job and holding the water back from the underbody or arm, I'd let it be. Just my 2 cents

    IO cards for ww 1.0

Have you looked at eBay for used I/O cards? I purchased some AB used parts there and have had really good luck. I only purchase from USA sellers. I get them in and just install, and let it run putting the card I took out into our parts stock. I got one output card out of about 20 that had a one...

Pdq laser 4000 lexair valve leak

We usually run slightly above 100psi. We have washworld HV, but generally the same as LW. Rule of thumb for us is 10 psi per 100psi of pump pressure. 1000 psi pump pressure equals 100 psi for lexair valves.

Pdq laser 4000 lexair valve leak

Do just the arch( leaking one). Guessing old style. Leave air on UC side if possible will help keep water from that side running back. If old style with no bolts I just break it loose with pipe wrench, then unscrew by hand. Take the part you unscrew off and set aside. There will be a round part...
