Help Needed: Persistent Pump Cavitation Issue in 3-Bay Self-Serve Car Wash

Let us know if these changes don’t solve the problem. There’s another possible concern regarding that model of cat pump, but it’s not worth talking about unless everything else has been addressed

Help Needed: Persistent Pump Cavitation Issue in 3-Bay Self-Serve Car Wash

I second what Randy said and if it were me, I’d immediately replace that big 3/4” check valve and it’s reducer bushings with a simple swivel and a nipple. While it’s apart, make sure the other check is in good condition. is that a plug or some type of PRV on that 90? Try to minimize...

Also… make sure the regulator isn't totally unloaded

Rebuilt CAT 310 Pump...now no High Pressure

Start by checking the pump valves. Half the time a bit of metal or crud or thread tape can wash its way into the suction valves after I tighten all the fittings back down when rebuilding, especially if I’m reusing old brass fittings. While the top (discharge) valves and plugs are out, look down...

    Customer Ebb and Flow

As a noob, I’m still getting my bearings, but I’m constantly perplexed by when I think we’re going to have a slow week because of heat/weather, local events, etc. that we wind up busy. When the weather is nice and not Much seems to be going on, it’s crickets and dry bays during the day. Almost...

Help ID this softener timer (fleck 3220?)

That’s right, the bound cable is most certainly what cause these stripped gears. Buckeye, do you sell this item?

Help ID this softener timer (fleck 3220?)

Alright, this thing is my problem. It’s some type of turbine flow totalizer meter that actuates the control gear of my softener. The small plastic gears in the meter gearbox are stripped. Has anyone seen this and know a part #? All I see is LF1 stamped in the brass and don’t see exact matches...

Hamilton bill changer giving 1 extra quarter

Nevermind, I see the plungers. They appear to depress correctly when I rotate a coin through.

Hamilton bill changer giving 1 extra quarter

Yes the arm returns to position just fine. I checked coin switch lash based on your method. It seems to be perfect… what do you mean by “both” switch plungers?

Hamilton bill changer giving 1 extra quarter

If it’s too tight, what would that cause? Do I want the “click” to be on a hair trigger, or do I want a decent amount of travel? I’ll look for this motor brake.

Hamilton bill changer giving 1 extra quarter

I ordered Hamilton changers 100-0395 switch. It’s a newer part number than the switch I had, but it worked and I managed to adjust it very easily. I’ll check for the sequence later when I get to the wash. It was 2 or 3 flashes and it had something to do with communication error. Lost my pic of...

Hamilton bill changer giving 1 extra quarter

All, I have a hamilton dual bill changer. One of the hoppers will dispense 1 extra quarter when changing a bill ($1=5qtrs, $5=21qtrs etc.) the problem follows whichever changer I put the problem hopper in. Hopper part# 11-0100 -I already replaced the counter switch, same issue -error light...

    Vacuum dome lights not working

If they actually have power and work otherwise, make sure your socket is clean and corrosion free. It’s a rough environment up there and I’ve had bulbs not work due to oxidized/dirty sockets a few times

Help ID this softener timer (fleck 3220?)

How do I meter flow? I know the rated gpm for the automatics high pressure pumps. I can probably find the RO’s, but how do I ballpark the hydrominders?
