My booms "home" pretty good their set up right. We also grease them regularly and clean out the old grease as well bc I hate when a boom and hose are difficult to move around in the bay.
This weekend so far we have tripped 3 of 6 bays. I have a fan running on the control cabinet about 24 inches...
I'm thinking about it Randy just to see if that solves it. Right now I'm running a floor fan for the weekend to see how it goes. It's been hot as hell down here....last week I think we hit 106⁰ with a feels like reading 116⁰!!!!
The flex wands have saved me from breaking wands in the bays. I...
Well since my original post I have tripped bay #5 3x's bay #2 once and bay#4 once.
I turned up the setting on the overload to 15 amps to see if that would compensate but they're still tripping. I'm going to home depot today to buy a floor fan to put down and leave running on the control panel...

Psi is set at 1200 and the pumps and unloaders are running fine when they pull the triggers or don't pull the triggers.
Yes some wands customer are leaving bent over half way out of the wand holder.
Thanks for the reply. Would the rotation cause this though? Everything is the same except the new flex wands and yes I did change the tips...sorry I forgot to add that in original post.
We clamped an amp meter on bay #6 but that motor was also making a very odd sound...as if it was about to go...
At one of my locations I have 6 bay jim coleman super saver stand. We had been getting a lot broken wands in the bays for various reasons so I switched to a flex wand setup using this item from KR...
So I found this early in the year. The chute got disconnected and I was too busy to get out there with my guys to knock the bricks out. Needless to say...hit the jackpot
I just switched to the same product and haven't had an issue. I do have foam generators and it foams great. I've already used up 3 or 4 buckets of the product with no issues on any of them.
If it is a class A company I would do a land lease for 25 years and 5 year escalation clauses tied to CPI or Prime Interest rate. Triple net of course and be done with it. If not them I would list if for lease under the conditions above and just collect mailbox money.
Hey guys so I have noticed the clear hose protector sleeve always cracks before the actual blue hose wears out. What do you guys do to preserve this sleeve to get longer life out of it?
I have changed my foam brush holders to vertical vs horizontal like they once were, which seems to have...
Well ironically, he returned my email today! Couldn't buy one machine though because they are waiting on delivery of parts but glad he finally returned my email.
Im glad someone posted about them because I was about too. Does anyone have a direct contact for them? I called and left 3 or 4 messages from the number on Google and I have yet to have a call back. I'm trying to buy 3 Old Faithful vending machines but can't get a call back!
We have a snow cone stand on one of our properties. It was built when the wash was built so it has a walk up window and drive thru. I lease it out to a guy who has two other snow cone stands in the area and he is very pleased with it. I know they can make money I just don't have time to hire...
Bought a new wash end of last year...its a complete gut job. Anyway cleaning out the years of accumulated parts came across these.
Have any of you guys seen these before?
In the past my bank would get an appraisal where they would look at cost (land and bldg value only) sales and income (taking what the biz makes into consideration) approaches. Personally I think it's crazy they don't consider the income the wash is generating because that would make the...

Yes you can have a wash with a full time job. I own my own business (full time job), have a small portfolio of rentals, and 4 washes.
Of course the key is good people, which is the biggest challenge, at every job that can help you. At the washes I collect the money and repair the more...
