I say take what ever you want. Your dad I guess knows what he is doing.
Back to original question..... Be sure that if you use concrete, put a pier in the ground along with the concrete pour to support the weight and stabilize the island. If it gets hit-odds are it won't move. Don't just lay...
I got my last 2 motors from these guys. A 5hp and a 20 hp. good price and quick. they gave me quotes for the different brands they carry. http://www.ibtinc.com/Locations
Not sure how hard the Irish water is, you will want to find out how hard your water is.
Hard water?-- you will need a water softener
You may have soft water but still have high TDS (total dissolved solids) in the water. to remove these solids you will need an RO unit (or D.I. unit as mentioned...
At my busiest wash I have 3 of 5 bays with dryers. I put them in my 3 slowest bays. now my busiest bay is not the one next to the ER.. I have signs in front stating which bays have the dryers. They are a good investment but expensive. I have Carolina Pride turbo dry. The motor units I have...
I have had 2 customers attempt a chargeback with no luck. My signage at the coinbox clearly states how to use the system.
I am baffled at how many people with creditcards come in for their first time using the card and they do not read the instructions until the get a charge for $15-my card cap...
any fix will fail probably sooner than later. I'd get a different quote from other places. I can get a complete charcoal filter with head and charcoal at that price. You might be able to get a complete softener tank w/resin at that price or just a bit more.
Shop around
Thinking out loud, make a list of what color wire on the term strip goes to which function. Remove door. locate "load"wire from timer and put the jumper on it. turn the timer on in the ER. Touch the other end of jumper wire to a "selection" terminal and watch to see if function starts.
Do this...
You might call Ginsan and talk to Mike Fox -if he is still there- about what you want to attempt to do. He has been a very helpful when I have problems or questions on Ginsan equip and has been with them for decades- again if he hasn't retired.
I installed a 100gallon tank with grundfos pump, bladder tank, float valve, kari float switch and pressure switch - all sitting on a stainless frame I had made sitting about 8 feet off the ground -above existing equipment. total cost was $1834. Frame was $625. I plumbed it into the main water...
Bought a wobblehead and it was online for 2 minutes. The wand is so much heavier that I thought about my elderly customers attempting to use it and I didn't like it. I use the foam master nylon head and replace it 1x a year. I don't have problems with my setup.
You may want to go to one of their other lunch locations to see how they operate and test the food. You said it is on a probationary period, just spell out what your expectations are for time frames, area to be used by them, etc. Not sure if this would be a draw for you or how it would benefit...
My records were made in January and March. May has been average, all has been weather related. January we had about 2 weeks of 50degree plus days (should have been about 25D) and more of the same for March. Tooo much rain this may.
I have count up. $3 to start with a $15 cap. I have signage being very specific about the stop button and how to use it right next to the box. . I do not give refunds unless it is a malfunction of my equipment and yes I have had many fail to press stop. Most customers accept that they screwed up.
The part is a "GS-17 interface" 33 years ago I used the interface and they did well for me when I was using the ginsan timers and the sensortron. It seemed that when I switch from the sensortron I started to have problems. I went to a simple spdt relay for my needs. But not sure hoe it will...
Is a resettable breaker tripping? or what? I might go to the coinbox and verify the wiring is the same as a working bay on the door and the terminal strip. I might even detach one wire at a time to be sure something at the term strip may not be the problem.
Get a jumperwire and hook it up to...
Though many companies call their equipment proprietary, it does not mean that it cannot be replaced by some other piece of equipment made by another company.
For example I have Ginsan timers but they can be replaced with IDX and others.
My SFR system uses a green circuit board for operations...
I have 530 cats and use the US Paraplate 1/2". It is placed in the vertical position, suction side down and the spring is removed. I have had it this way for 25 years and works great.
As stated earlier, stay where you are at until some upgrades have been done. When upgrades are done then consider price increase or time decrease.
I am at $1 for 2min4sec bays
$1 for 4.5 min on vacs.
Keep in mind that all locations are not the same. What works for some may not...
