First thing I would check would be if the pump was being starved for water. Some systems require the pumps to be choked back for them to pull chemicals. If choked back too far it will cause pulsation and could damage pumps. You can also check filter's in line that feeds the pump.
It sounds like you have done all your homework, but just as many have mentioned here, $600k for land is a absolute deal killer because a car wash is probably not it's best use. 12,000 cars a day is on the low side of traffic too (most food franchises would find 12,000 cars a day only marginal...
I just had my first article published in Auto Laundry News. I was surprised when I saw it in there because I submitted it back in August and thought it might not have made the cut. This shows some real world water/sewage bills before and after reclaim install. They actually split the article in...
My first thought was counting prox as well. An easy way to check this (at least on a WW 1.0) is to look at a setting in the ECC that tells you the wheel counts of your last ten cars. They should show beginning and end of car counts and the first count is usually in the 6-10 range and the last...
I read through most of the posts. I might have missed it, but you are heating 5 bays correct? I didn't see that posted but was assuming it from looking at your zone manifold.
I want to do this. I know this would probably be a lot of work but if you could shoot a video of the install and post to youtube it would be great. I can edit video if you want and put model numbers, pricing, etc.. If you have an Iphone it takes great video (better than my expensive camera)...
I guess I have been luck keeping my middle oscillating blower nozzle working for over eight years on both of my WW 1.0's. I have replaced a few motors and that has always fixed them in the past. I installed a new motor in the nozzle controller today and it did not fix it and I am not sure how to...
i had trouble when I installed a Dixmor to replace my 1034R on a combo fragrance vac. I would have worked OK if it wasn't for the combo function. I was on the phone with Dixmor a few times but we tried various wiring and could not get it to work correctly. The footprint is a little bit different...
I used mounting boxes from Allied electronics for my Eports. They are starting to deteriorate after 2 years of service. If you do end up using them, put anti sieze on cover plate screws...
I have water wizard 1.0's as well. The solenoid valves go bad below the clear coat tank and you also need to choke off the fresh water feed to the cat pump (until it cavitates then back just a bit until it stops) for it to pull wax. If you are getting a good "break" from your clear coat...
I had a second problem yesterday. Same thing. This time I had an error code though 1.6 (rear sensor blocked) and I am going to clean to see if that fixes it.
I have a Hamilton changer with a Hamilton validator. Yesterday and today it took a customer's $5.00 bill and did not give change and did not go out of service. When I get there it works fine. I know from video that the customer is not working me. In the past when it malfunctions the red light...
Coleman needs some damage control!
I don't have any good answers other than my rebuild kits from KR have seemed to last at least two to three years before they start leaking again.
I have two foaming brush tanks in my Coleman system that I need to manually change over with a simple twist of a ball valve. I was considering attaching a controlbyweb.com temperature relay to a solenoid that would automatically switch it over when the temperature reaches a certain temperature...
I am considering closing in one of may bays at my older wash and do not want the dramatic slope that goes to the pit. I was thinking I could fill the pit in with gravel and pour a few inches of concrete over the existing bay concrete. Is there a problem in doing this?
This is interesting to me. I was looking at Sunset Beach CA in a Google satellite photo. In the Pacific Ocean, just of the shore line, it looks like there are buildings in the ocean floor. I can't make sense of it. The naval station is right there. any ideas...
This is common. Just order a rebuild kit from KR and install it. This link has a video to show you how:
