I was unable to see the pics but from other responses it seems like you have either dirt left over, or rinse water left over causing spotting. If its dirt left over you do not have your chemicals and or water softener set up right. If however you are getting the vehicles clean but then the rinse...
This survey just seems to be about lighting and materials used for aesthetics. Not really useful in knowing what way the iba industry needs to go to move on to the next level as described!
I am using all Whiting Systems products. First is smart brite low pH on pass 1 with an 8 second dwell time, then Tornado Extreme for high pH with a 15 second dwell before washing. The smart brite is about half the strength of the tornado when I titrate it.
I have also added a 55 gal drum at the...
You just need the biggest tank you can squeeze in with a pump that has a digital pressure switch so it can cut in and out as the pressure fluctuates! I use these all the time!
Depending how big your waste pits and tanks are will make a big difference to the retrofit. The underground separation tanks do 95% of the recycling (dirt separation), so these need to be done right. You may already have suitable pits though. If so its just an above ground system! If using...
A water softener will do little to prevent water spots, so should not be considered as a solution to be used to improve the finish, in the wash where water is left on the car. Softening all water is a waste of money in my opinion. You only need to soften the soap water and have an r.o to give a...
I will be adding it this year to a number of iba's via the superoperator wash app. Will post data as it becomes available. I have been informed by others that although iba washes may not be perfectly suited to unlimited - customers tend to visit during off peak times and no longer wash when the...
I use Whiting Systems Smartbrite for my low pH and Tornado Extreme for my high pH. It does a fantastic job and I have no windshield brow marks left. Also have had no tarnished chrome which occasionally happened with cheaper "Caustic" high pH products.
Could your wax for the hp wax be contaminated? Sound like the wax is wrong. Or if you are on hydrominders and the tank system, you may have a cracked weld between a tri foam tank and the h.p tank! To check this just switch off the water supply to the wax tank and drain it. Then grab a coffee...
Dosatron is fine for a tunnel application where super concentrated chemicals are not used, but on a touchless iba the pulsing of the chemicals is a big problem. I have found direct injection to be a far superior system for this. I Have set up hydraflex on some washes and seen perfect chemical...
You just need to grip the tube with something like pipe pliers then take off an end. Then use long nosed pliers to pull out the wire inside. Then wash it out and it is best to blow out with an air line. I would say a choke point for any debris would be the tee joint above the hockey puck that is...
On top of the machine on the left hand side you will see a few grey hard pvc pipes. with hoses either side. These are the foamers. The tri foam one is probably the second one up from the entrance side!
