If WashCard and the rest of them had thought this out, they would go to the manufactures and make sure that their stuff worked together. Its in both their interest to do it.
If its built like the majority of their crap, no one will need to worry about them being competition. It will break and you won't be able to get parts or help. The distributors will bail pretty quick when they realize they are holding an empty bag.
The odds are that they didn't do it at all or did a halfa$$ job, now that you nailed them on it, they are claiming that it needs done more often. My Honda van has 120K miles and its never been done, and it is still green and test correct. My Z has 61K and the same thing, I just tested them...
