I have read a bit about flojet pumps and it looks like some folks use these to convert existing low-pressure pumps to flojets?
For example, things like tire cleaner, foam brush, pre-soak, etc.
My question is:
- It looks like Flojet is an airpump - i.e. I draw air from my compressor to power...
Thanks guys. Was able to do exactly as you said ...
- First WD40'ed the heck out of the old motor.
- Let it sit for 4 hours.
- Inserted the screws and gently had them go through.
- Pushed the disc back and released the sheave.
Only thing I am stuck on now is getting the little shank off of...
Looking for some help to get the belt drive (the disc, the thing that the belt runs on) off the shaft of the motor.
I attached pictures below (and don't ask me about the condition of the motor ... I blame previous owner).
I have a new motor and I need to get the belt piece off and ideally...
I am making progress at diagnosing this. The motor with the roto-flow does not turn on when "Tire Cleaner" is selected. What is the best way to diagnose why this is the case?
Should I hook up a multi-meter to the motor power cables and see if it shows any power?
I have also posted a couple...
I am looking to replace the solenoid on a Coleman supersaver.
I understand this is a 24V system. But is this AC or DC?
I believe this is the right part: 24 Volt Normally Closed Solenoid Valve | Dema | A414P.3 | Kleen-Rite but I am hoping someone could help me confirm.
I attached a couple...
Thanks. Just to confirm, this product would have its own pump? I am thinking that since this is “low pressure” it would run off of city water pressure?
Is that a thing?
Another newbie question. I have a product labeled "Tire Cleaner" that is supposed to be "low pressure" from the "high pressure" wand. When this selection is engaged, across any of the bays, the high-pressure wand only spews out a little bit of air.
I have attached some pictures/videos.
The...
Another post from me ... looking for some help with part identification. Pics are attached. I have some parts that are leaking and looking to replace them.
Here is what I believe so far:
1) - ?
2) - ?
3) - high pressure rinse out to bay
4) - water inlet
5) - weep line?
6) - weep line shutoff...
This is another (newer) thread on pit pump outs.
I read through some of the older threads and got motivated to try to dig this out myself. I dropped a sump to drain most of the water and then shoveled three wheel-barrows worth of sludge/mudd out of the pit. At this point, I realized that with...
I have a 6 bay self-serve and I am new to the car wash business and I am looking for some help diagnosing an issue.
In all of the bays, when I put the selector on "Spot Free Rinse", in the control room nothing happens. That is, no pump is running, no water comes out of the high-pressure...
