If you are in a cold climate i would do on board dryers. Having the door open while they are driving out during drying cools of the inside bay. You should also check to see if others in your distributor location are happy with them, PDQ or WW.
It makes no sense to make business close then let everyone travel where ever they want. I talked to several people that lost their jobs and plan on taking a trip out of state to either see someone, fishing or vacation. This is only prolong the closures of business. Pull the trigger PA and...
First thing we do at my locations is spray all areas the public touches, vac hoses, hand-bay wands foam brush handles, etc. with a 10% bleach solution that we make. This helps protect us as well as our customers. We also wear gloves and wash our hands constantly.
I looked into doing this. Very expensive and just like the car wash business as soon as you put one in everyone else does the same thing and over builds. I went the way of storage for RV and campers. Low cost to start with stone lot, no fence. Put 3x12 banner up and listed in craiglist...
Take the air line off and put a few drops of oil in the line then cycle the valve. I have also taken them off and cleaned them put oil on parts and put it together. Sometimes these concepts work. For one of the valves I had to buy the repair kit and that fixed it.
I take the money I was planing on using for advertising and give it directly to my customer audience. In other words I take my coupons (Token Notes from Hamilton) and donate them to different charities, clubs, church, local businesses. I give away free washes... If my budget is $300 a month...
I use my heated presoak on my handbay pump station. I have a pump hooked to thermostat that comes on and a line that runs up into my insulated trough in attic.
I use lo then correct for hi. I have used 1 box correct and 5 gal of mc liquid. Has worked good but someone said they use 1/3 of a 5 gal presoak purple passion. I will be mixing one of these up this week and try it on one bay viruses the mc liquid.
One thing I have learned is to raise prices in late fall. When I would raise it in the spring or summer customers have a choose to wash at home. By the time spring comes around they are use to the higher price and just keep coming to wash.
Soapy: What size tips are you using? What was the titrate? When you say Super Kleen and a surfactant/booster mix, What is the surfactant booster mix you use?
Do you add the purple passion to boost the strength of the mix or is it just for show? When using the purple passion does it turn the product color for a better show? Does it add a smell to the wash pass?
Don't get me wrong, I am very happy I went to correct, What a money saver. In order to get the right titration I would have to increase the tip to much. We did talk about putting a booster on using a second injector but I was checking to see if there are any other solutions then that.
Even if...
I am using correct powder and would like to add a booster to it to help make it stronger. Is anybody using a booster with there correct powder if so what is it and what results have you had?
I am using it on my 4000 with a brown tip and the titration came out at six and the soap guy said he...
I have two auto's and were going to until the cost was over $6,000 for the parts and several thousand to install. Over $16,000.00 that I do not have with all the competition. My customers are familiar with the treadles so I plan on up grading them and going to pressure pads. With that said...
