They just get a code on their receipt that they use. It also tells them number of washes remaining to use. I'm not positive, but I think the code is tied to the credit card number used. I think it uses the last 6 digits or something similar. Either way, I post to not lose the receipt.

I checked my hardness yesterday and it was 30. I'm hoping I just messed up a regen cycle while messing with it a few days ago, but had it switch tanks and did a proper regen and will test again today. Here are a couple more photos of the head. I'm not sure I see what's wrong with the upper...

Anything else that would cause my hardness to get higher? Or does it have to be the resin? Salt tank is full and seems to be working properly.
