Thanks! It's a slow work in progress.
Hopefully someone on here has an answer for you. Is it only on the $5 wash?
There has to be some combination that sets off the refund and allows a wash to trigger.
I had that same problem but it was a long time back. If I remember I had to go into the autocashier settings and change settings for the new reader. I gave free washes for a day without knowing until loyal customers let me know.
Looks like poor uniform chemical pattern from nozzles. Is this side of the car with the problem also the 1st pass of soap on this wash? Make sure all previous chemical is out before a new pass. It is easy to blame a poor wash on touchless, but it is not hard to get a near perfect wash with a...
I have Premier dryers and have installed them with both air knives and elephant ears. I like the knives, in a 4 producer system with 2 10 hp on top and 2 15 hp on the sides. I have been very happy with them.
We had a good year. Overall profit was up a small amount, which was very surprising as we are going through a complete remodel of the exterior, interior, and equipment, while also adding an addition to this wash.
The original valve was in the wrong position inside the building? If so it will be difficult to get the plumber to stand that cost as he replaced it where the original one was. As far as the new valve, it should surely have some type of warranty?
Grew up on the same street as a self service car wash in a town of 400. Gave me the bug but didn't act on it until I was in my late 20's. First wash was built in 1990. A 2 and 1 concrete block building. Lot cost $40k and all in was $240k. I still own it and am currently remodeling and adding a...
I removed the trash cans at a site and haven't looked back. I have a dumpster and will often find customer's trash in it which doesn't bother me a bit. Cleaner lot now, with no dead fish, counter tops, diapers, windshield wipers, undelivered newspapers, car batteries, drywall, paint, bags of dog...
I have 2 Rheem 199 btu's for a 2 & 1 and have no problems supplying the pumps. Setpoint is 115. Adding a 2nd IBA shortly and will try adding it to them.
8 years on the location using low/hi, and little to no wear on the concrete or equipment. I am thinking we must wash everything off well enough with rinse cycles to keep from getting damage. This wash is in farm country so it gets a lot of dirty vehicles with road film too. Really have it dialed...
wash12, Blendco xxx is a nice low ph, and I follow it with presoak 2000 and hph, one of Blendco's high ph chemicals. As far as drops I use 17 drops xxx, and double that for HPH alkiline.
Here is the update on my MA850 issue. As I posted, I had a unit, purchased thru Dultmeier, that did not work from the factory which I returned. IDX sent Dultmeier and me a pic of a damaged unit, vandalized, and determined cost of repair was over $200 and was too much to repair. I replied to...
I recently purchased 850's, and had 1 that did not power up from the factory. I sent it back and just today they sent an email with a pic of a damaged acceptor, due to vandalism, and not worth repairing, they noted. Clearly the unit in the pic is not the unit I sent them. Will see how this ends...
About 10 years ago I had a 40k+insurance claim at a wash. The same week they paid me they dropped me, citing that loss, along with a couple smaller losses, as the reason, effecting my insurance at all washes. I paid higher premiums for 2 years and then found better rates with no short term loss...
