Last year I used the 2 sided tape to attach my instruction signs to brick walls and I’m not happy with the results. The tape is sticking to the brick and the paper decal on the back of the lexan separating decal from the clear lexan. I wish I had used screws and plastic anchors.
I retired from my employer 9-1-2006 and had them forward all my 401K funds to my IRA account at Schwab. Currently I control all the investments in the IRA.
For me, changing to tokens stopped the frontal attacks on my changers. However, it did not stop the thieves from breaking into the equipment room to get cash out of the rear of the changers.
I had the same thing happen to me 2 years ago. The thieves cut my telephone line and a 2X2 hole in my equipment room door. From there they cut the corners off the backs of my changers. Since then I added motion sensors inside the equipment room and a radio backup to the alarm system. No...
This afternoon I had a 2007 Chrysler 300 go thru my touchless auto (same body style as the 2005). I paid close attention to the hi-pressure passes as well as the dryer cycle with 3-10 hp. blowers. The roof of the car did not appear to move at all while in the wash. It sounds like your...
Did anyone besides me find it strange that in the box "Race of Father" it lists African. I don't think African was used in 1961 to describe a Negro. In the South we used Ni**er, Negro and Colored...I'm not sure what they used in Hawaii.
I got my AT&T home bill down to $23/mo. I eliminated the inside wire maintenance charge, long distance carrier and got it down to bare bones. I’d like to get rid of it too, but my alarm system depends on it.
Here in Fl. land and building are real estate and carwash equipment is tangible personal property. Land and building are valued at current market prices and equipment starts out at purchase price and then depreciates a little each year as it ages. Both are taxed at the same rate.
Maybe Abus should stick to selling only one high quality disc lock and drop their “not worth a crap” line. I know it would have saved them at least one customer.
My mistake in calling the grease silicone…it is “Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant” in a spray can. An employee at the hardware store said it is the best thing they had in the store for locks.
Normally I don’t say much when a new part goes bad, but I bought 10 locks and had problems with 5. I...
I bought some Abus disc locks that I’m not too happy with. They are hard to get the key in and out as well as being hard to unlock. Greasing them with silicone spray didn’t help. These locks are the ones with the picture of the buffalo on it.
Anybody got a better choice for disc locks?
In the 70’s & 80’s my town had a full service tunnel that used steam as a prep on the cars. One worker on each side of the car hit the bugs in the front as well as the rocker panels at the beginning of the conveyor. Later the owner built a new location and replaced the steam with a chemical...
A new owner just replaced a 10 year old Monsoon (which had been shut down for a year) with a Typhoon in Fort Walton Beach. I only talked to him once and don't know how his business is doing.
