Ryko Equipment with Dencar POS

Hey all. Hope everyone is having a blessed day. So I’ve been trying to call Dencar support/sales for a few days now with questions about their integration with Ryko equipment, but no one is picking up. I’ve left voicemails and still haven’t heard back. Has anyone had any experience with Ryko and a Dencar? We are planning another new site this year and might be putting a Dencar in. We almost purchased their equipment last year but got cold feet. It's safe to say the experience getting a hold of them is slightly concerning.

@CarWashDude101 On the Softgloss side, we have (6) 24VDC inputs available for wash packages, and we have a couple of different outputs typically used to indicate wash in use (bayplate) to enable escrow to work properly with most systems. If you need tech support help on the Ryko side, just call 844-627-9274, select option 8, then 2 to reach my Ryko team. 30+ years experience and will be happy to assist.

You should look up Dencar on the forum. There is a ton of people that have issues but then there is some that must have a lucky rabbit foot in the pocket because its the most perfect POS ever made.

Me personally Ill stick with Hamilton who has been around for over a 100 years. Although I might wait a long time on the phone and listen to their horrible call waiting music/voice girl they always answer no matter what. The tech guys are great over there.

Have you tried calling a distributor who sells (and has installed) Dencar?

Dencar support is amazing but their job (as far as I am aware) is not to answer technical questions about hardware integration. It's to fix any problems with existing installed equipment.

Unless someone has an IBA that has no inputs to trigger wash packages, then Dencar (or any other pay station) will work with it.

I have four Ryko units connected to Dencar kiosks. You have to use AC to DC converters for kiosks inputs but other than that, they have been working great. I also helped another owner install a Dencar for an old USD 2001 that was previously on RykoNet. Did have to have a service tech come out and help because I wasn't sure how to convert it off RykoNet.
