Help identifying a part

From the rotary switch, I have the wire for foam brush that comes to this black box. It then goes to the 2 solenoids (soapy water/air). Does anyone know what this device is and where to get it? I think its a bit old so getting a replacement is not an option. How do I find something comparable?

Yes it controls the solenoids for FB. The best I can tell is that from the rotary switch, a wire comes into this per bay, then each of those wires is split into 2 wires. One goes to the solenoid that controls the air and another one to the solenoid that controls the soapy water.

How is your foam brush liquid pumped out? What kind of pump are you using? This item is most likely controlling the pump, so whenever any bay is using foam brush, the pump will turn on.

That's a multiplexor used to control the pump directly. There isn't one on the market that I would trust to drive a pump directly anymore. There are a few like the IDX MX8 or our GS61D that would work but you're going to want to have it trigger a 24VAC contactor that then turns on the pump motor. You'll also need a 24VAC transformer for the coil voltage of the contactor......or............your could rip out all those potential points of failure and use a Flojet pump to delivery your foam brush.

It's nice that whoever installed the system used the same colored black wires, makes it easy to fix.
