Water coming out of gauge

Morning everyone,

Starting having a small leak coming from the pressure gauge on top where the rubber stopper is. Came inside today and someone was using the bay. Water spewing out of the gauge. Is only the gauge bad and needs replacing or something else too? Thanks

Probably just a bad gauge, they are cheap on Amazon and easy to replace

Take the gauge off and temporally put a 1/4" plug in the hole and order a 0-3000 psi gauge, you want a liquid filled gauge

You should keep that control cabinet door closed at all times. This could have been a lot worse than just a gauge.

this is why i keep cabinet doors closed and latched and i also put a piece of polyplastic over top of cabinets with a rock or something heavy on top of it. I have had many floods; it will happen.

Thanks for the advice. Ended up being a bad gauge. Cabinet door sealed off and closed.
