Hello all, I’m new here. I purchased a car wash in a small town about a year ago and have so far been able to learn and fix all the problems I have had but the latest has me stumped. my auto bay has a rainmaker unit and it appears the backup battery in the plc went dead. When the lost power and then came back on all settings were cleared and set to zero. I can get everything to work except the tower will not move. I can manually move the tower by holding the tower move button and it will go all around and then send it home but it will not move when running a wash. Sorry, but I know very little about electronics of the beast all works.

I guess the question is 1st would anyone know what setting I am missing here? I do not have any kind of manual for the unit either, I found an old hydrospray manual online for a different unit and was able to steal some of the default settings. Would anyone have a copy of a manual they would be willing to send? I just don’t know what to do at this point. I have talked to hydrospray, but they couldn’t find anything or been able to help solve the problem so far. I’m sure it’s a simple fix but after 3 weeks I’m throwing in the towel.

Thanks, Aaron

Is this a fixed rail or adjustable carriage?

There is a carriage system as well that travels front and back.

Can you select a wash and post a picture of your HMI screen? Have you tried a test wash without a vehicle? I have the same machine and the same pLC battery issue so I can go through the screens and tell you what they read.

Thank you all for the help! I talked to Jsshac on the phone this morning and he got me running again. Bricks, I haven’t found the battery location yet. Any chance you could point me in the right direction there?

Have you reached out to Hydro Spray?
I believe they service these units

Should be on your left while looking at the pLC in the cabinet.
