We prefer Nayax, especially without internet at your washes, it works on the cell network. There is a Nayax sticky thread that has all the info you need to hook them up to any timer.

Here is my setup. Laurel nayax specific accessory box from Kleenrite and use a Ginsan GS-402 timer. I do count-down pricing since I dont have a display timer or an external stop button which would be required to effectively do that. My pricing is $3,$4,$5,$6,$10,$15. I get folks regularly selecting the $10 wash as well as the lower menu options. the downside is even though customer support can help you configure the devices to exactly the price and menu options you want, the wiring is a little less intuitive and documented than what crypto offers with their install instructions.

I can also remotely activate the bay by using my prepaid virtual card/wallet in the "moma" phone app that auto roll-over balance to monthly. This way I can activate a bay and pay for customer wash on a different working bay without needing to do refunds. I tell them to text me next time they are at the wash and I'll activate the bay for them if for some reason I can't respond to their text/call in time and they had an issue.

With Nayax, you don't need a display timer or external button. Timer and stop button will both be displayed on the Nayax screen in count up.

yes but I often see complaints about water spray touching the sensitive touchscreen turning off the bay creating user frustration. Also you need to run a 24v from the nayax pulse wire to the rotary timed load so you can bypass the timer, but I thought that also requires special separate relays that need to be bought off amazon. It seems much easier to integrate with an LED7 timer (although more expensive, which is why i didnt go this route). Again, I wanted to keep my customer complaints and user frustration low. Others may be better at signage and customer service, but thats not my desire.

Water spray will stop the timer but, the plastic protective covers fix that easy enough.

I like the Monex CC reader because the fee's are less. Anyone have experience with this brand?

I like your setup on the older coin box with cc reader. My question is would it be easy to convert my setup to use credit cards, and is the wiring easy to connect. I am new to this business and still trying to learn. IMG_0892.JPG

I have the exact same timers as you at one of our locations with nayax installed in count up mode - using some relays and dc power supply. Count down can also be done with those timers and nayax. No need to replace timers, it can be done with your current setup

I have Nayax count up on Vacs and Nayax count down on self service bays. Really like the count down with 4 price options for the customer to choose from for self service. Thinking of switching the vacs to count down with a couple price options such as $3 or $5. Keno is right, not to difficult to do.
