Hamilton HTK receipt tape problem

Hi everyone. I have 2 Hamilton HTK pay stations (purchased new 2021). I'm having the same problem with both of them. We load the roll of receipt paper correctly according to manual, everything seems to work fine, but then after a day or two the paper comes free inside the paystation. I.E. it pulls out of the printer and just hangs there inside the machine so that customers cannot get receipts. Has anyone experienced this issue -- any suggested solutions would be greatly appreciated!

You're not the only one with problems like this. We are having a similar problem with one of our new ICS AutoSentry Pay Station printers. It issues receipts for a couple of days and then backs up. It's actually printing, but the paper doesn't come out, it just keeps rolling in the machine. Distributor tells us it's either, paper put in incorrectly; printer misaligned, or customers tearing off the receipts before their fully printed. We reinsert the paper and everything seems fine, and then a couple of days later, it quits. This pic is what greets us when we open the machine:

When we had printer issues on our goldline the issue was a setting that told the system what type of printer we were using. No idea how it was changed but when tech support found and set the printer type to the correct setting it resolved the issue. We had to use our hand held controller to change the printer type in the Paystation.
