I had a CAT pump with relatively low pressure. Since I am new to this, I figured I would start with replacing the valves. Replaced all 3 inlet valves and 3 outlet valves. All that seems to have fixed the problem. Pump is creating good pressure. However, is there anything that can be salved...

Thanks everyone. Closing this one up. I was able to diagnose the product valve that was not opening, and so no product was coming down (the gravity fed path) to the pump. I replaced the valve and now the product is flowing to the pump and it is still pumping. As always, appreciate everyone here...

Another n00bie question. I would like to adjust the pressure on the output of this CAT pump. Do I turn the brass on top of the pressure regulator? Do I do this while the pump is running and then watch the pressure on the gauge? Picture below.
