I would up pulling the water lines and cutting power to my 2 busiest bays and brought the guns into the ER. I'll hook them back up on Wednesday. I left my 2 slowest bays open. I am kind of curious to see if they'll be OK when it gets to -10 tomorrow night.

Do you shut down when it gets this cold? Will weeping keep lines from freezing when it gets this cold?

I personally don't think should be applicable unless you advertise a specific amount of time per $. I purposely don't advertise any specific length of time. I charge $ for 1 car wash, not for 3 or 4 minutes of use.

I received a call from the Dept of Weights and Measures. Apparently they certify that timing devices work properly and they are now looking at self serve car washes. Has anyone had to deal with this type of regulation before?

For a SS, I have heard selling price should be 3-4 times gross or 6-8 times net. Obviously, propety value, sales trends, needed repairs, etc. would be taken into consideration. I'm sure there are different opinions.

I pulled the fuse on the transformer & visually checked it. I re-used the same fuse...for some reason it works now. Dirty contacts? Maybe the transformer is on it's way out?..not really sure.
