10/15/20: I have recently gotten the keys to a self service car wash and the facility was(is) an absolute mess so I’m hoping to see if I can make any progress here! I have absolutely zero experience with car wash operations and systems however have no issues in getting my hands dirty or learning through trial. I am 28 years old, have no wife, no kids and no mortgage; which in turn means that I have the ability to spend time at my new business. I have been involved with my family in purchasing other types of businesses before, rehabbing them, then selling them. I believe the property was sold due to lack of management and oversight from the owners. I saw the future potential that this location can provide based on the price I was able to acquire not only the business for but also the property as well. There is without a doubt a plethora of things broken or wrong at this property however the structure, foundation and electrical components seem to be sturdy. I have been lurking on this forum for the last couple of days and decided that I would send some private messages to some members here who seem to be incredibly knowledgeable in this field (when I muster the courage to message other people.) I look forward to learning something from everyone here and have confidence in turning this car wash I’ve bought into a functioning business. I hope that my establishment can be one that I can be proud of and one day be the one helping. Thank you in advance for everyone who contributes to helping!
