Yes and I'm not getting power at the solenoid. So I replaced solenoid first. Then replace rotary switching thinking it wasn't getting signal from bay since I had 24v in at the terminal in the box
Good Morning all,
I have a foam brush not working in one of my bays. Here's what I've done so far:
When the feature is selected in the bay I have 24v in the control box(where motor starter is) on wire terminal for the foam brush. However, the solenoid was not opening. I put a new solenoid on...
that’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure.
I’ve been changing stuff to brass cause I’ve seen what can happen to galvanized plumbing. I had a badly corroded nipple on a manifold that i used every curse word known to man removing it.
here’s a better picture. The yellow hose goes to the pressure...
Hey all
So I’ve managed to figure out most of my Carwash and what stuff does. But for the life of me I can’t figure out what the blue line is for that I circled in the picture.
each pump has it. The hose comes from a manifold that comes off the main water line. Turning the valve on each hose...
Thanks guys. I went ahead and changed the valves in one pump that had low pressure and it corrected the issue. When I inspected the other valves they were missing o-rings and the white plastic retainer were cracked in most of them.
I do like the idea of the hour meters. I will have to look...
Hey guys,
I have 4 cat 310 pumps. All are working fine. However the prior owner of the wash has no idea when the seals and valves have been replaced. I noticed some the seals look bad and I pulled the valve on one pump and it seen better days. I figured I’d service all the pumps. But my...
I only detail my own vehicles. Between my truck and camaro there is a lot of chrome and I use flitz chrome polish. Depending on the amount of trucks and if the company is wanting the trailers done too that tube of flitz won't last long. Flitz does have a wholesale option on their website that he...
To share my experience I own a 4 bay ss. I have found that it holds a base of loyal customers that have been coming to it since it opened it 1994. I've fixed a of the major issues and spoke with a lot of customers. Many people prefer hand washing their vehicles and if you can provide them with...
I agree with you. I was trying to avoid spending more money due to an unexpected expense with the carwash. I guess the got to spend money to make money comes into play. Thank you for your guidance
Thank you Dan for the insight. Do you mind if I ask why it would work with the old timemaster and not the led6? I took a working timemaster and it worked just fine. Just realized I forgot to post that in the original post
Hi guys,
Looking for some advice. I purchased a led6 timer for my bay. I have a ginsan sensortron 57475 gs-41 coin acceptor. My issue is it does not recognize coin input. I have it wired the following way:
The sensortron has a yellow, blue and gray(possibly black but faded) wire harness
Gray...
Thank you all for your tips and advice. Just finished shutting everything down! Now to wait and see lows look like theyll get into the teens. Now to get a glass of whiskey to take the edge off!
Thanks! I did read about the antifreeze idea. Very rarely we get into the 20s like this down here. I'm South Louisiana by Lafayette. It only looks the high will be 35 and then down to 17 and then we warm back up. My concern is the outside lines. The prior owner said he's never had a issue in the...
