Blanco, I don't disagree they will last a while. My manifolds were about ten-fifteen years old before they all started failing. And I use hot presoak and tire cleaner in my SS compared to most. But after replacing them here and there, one day I walked it and found a mess. A plunger housing...
What product is building up?
Alkaline cleaners, try soaking in an acid to clean. Wax products might respond to a solvent. Naptha, paint thinner, brake cleaner, etc.
I've replaced all my plungers housings on anything corrosive. I think it's stupid for a company to make a stainless manifold...
Hmm, that must be a newer unit. All mine are 20 years old
Take off that "washer" on the plunger stem and you will see two indentations design to accommodate a spanner wrench. You can take a small punch and hammer and tap in a counterclockwise direction to loosen.
Before you do all that: this...
Cash purchases are count down and credit purchases can be count up on the same unit. Dixmor timers can not charge different amount for different services in count up mode. I just charge the same rate for fragrance, shampoo, and vac. I get so little fragrance and shampoo use that I don't...

Ask yourself "when is Free not a good deal?" Is that motor even the right voltage? A lot of tunnel equipment is 480

I'm stuck on "easy to install" :).
I turn 60 in a few Months and I can install these myself vs having a another project on my list that never gets done. If I hire an electrician to install wall packs most of the savings is negated
Reviving this thread. Noticed last week my nine year old Cree canopy LEDs are getting dim and some have gone out altogether. I could replace some of them but I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and replace all.
To make things simple, I'm thinking of going back with the LSI canopy lights...
You'll get better performance if the poly product line going to the bay is 3/8", not 1/4"
To reduce changeover time, get the product manifold as close to the boom inlet as possible and swap to 1/4" wirebraid bay hose or mosmatic comfort hose from boom to gun.
Free vacs open to the public on an unattended site? Nope. The free people and people vacuuming extended times will clog up his site on busy days.
For 2K he can drop a vacuum token out of his paystation. I do that at my sites and less than 50% of the people bother to get them.
He can do a...
