63 million dollar taxpayer funded home shelter in NY. ONLY FOR TRANS PEOPLE.

I'll try not to get too political but leave it at. I'm ok with seeing my tax dollars go towards helping those less fortunate that me.

No. The majority of that money went to feed poor people and create infrastructure within those countries that would help those who lived there. Is there waste within the program, Sure, but the good far outweighed the bad.

I believe NY spends over 2 billion on homeless. So there is help for Veterans as well. Both Transgender and Veterans are at a higher likely hood to be homeless than your average person:( 65 MIllion does seem like a lot. I wonder what the actual budget looks like, Building purchase with lower...

Prospective 1st time owner - where to even start?

Partnering with great service team is a priority. They can be pricey but worth it to avoid down time. Follow them around and ask questions so you can do, at least the small repairs, yourself. When I purchased mine. I had them review the equipment before I signed the contract.

Good morning. Reading an old post about you upgrading your Wash Select II to a Monex reader. May I ask how they have worked out? Does the customer have to enter the price on the monex reader or will it get that from the Wash Select when a package is selected? Do you know roughly what the fees...

    On board vs Freestanding dryers

If I had room, I think I would go free standing. Having said that. Many of my customer, especially older ones. Like the blowers on the rails doing all the work. Especially in winter.

    Mark VII Choice Wash

If its like mine. There is that eye located on the passenger side in front of the wheel scrub. Cant really see it but there is a square cut out, like 4 inches above the floor, that shoots a beam over to the the driver side just above the wheel scrub on that side. Every once in a while leaves or...

    Advice needed on raising prices

what are your wash splits. How many use the 9$ versus the $11 and $13. Is Ceramic for all packages? I'm in a similar boat. I will be adding Ceramic this spring and most of my customers choose my top wash. I think I need to raise the top wash and add the ceramic to differeniate my washes.

    Tunnel Wash Competition

I live in a rural town with just under 4,000. Figured that would keep me safe from a tunnel. I can't fathom how a tunnel and its costs will make a profit. I would suggest holding on for a bit longer with hopes that you are better positioned, financially than the tunnel, to weather a downturn in...

    New

I would suggest reaching out to the other owner to see if they are willing to sell. It may be an easier way to get into the business and gain some experience from that owner.

Anybody have a custom splash guard made?

Looking to have a custom Splash guard made similar to the photo below. If you had one made. Who made it. Local sign company or dealer? Any special considerations if I have one made?

Inherited CarWash with purchase of a lube shop

No advice from me but I can commiserate. I am almost daily blown away by the people who don't want to take my money. I have reached out several times for various upgrades I am interested in. Others with more experience will chime in but the key for me is finding a good distributor.
