I can second this. I switched to Nayax count up readers from Monex end of Feb. 2025. We're only 1.5 months in, but it's been a clear win-win (higher revenue/lower fees) so far. My fees are going to be more than 50% lower than they were with Monex.
No, primarily they all have their own payment system and external hardware. With exception of Nayax/Beacon which is fully integrated via the Nayax card readers.
Another loyalty app question for those who have used it: what type of incremental revenue have you seen?
My main concern/hesitation is that it will take from current customer base, and not be incremental enough to cover costs and make it worth it. So looking to see if anyone has experience. Thanks!
Has anyone here used or is using Beacon mobile? Had a conversation with them today, and curious if anybody has thoughts. Also interested to know what added revenue it's brought to your car wash?
The Beacon monthly fee is at least 2x higher than all other mobile app providers I've chatted with.
Does anyone have more details and experience with Beacon? I'm considering installing Nayax card readers, and love the idea of the integration so no additional install. But got quoted at $419/month + transaction fees (and other launch fees). I'm still unsure how much an app will add in revenue...
That's great. Yeah, I never get complaints in hindsight about folks forgetting to stop, but in the moment when the button is not very responsive and they panic.
Which app are you using? Coinless?
Interesting. What pricing packages are you using?
Also, curious if your complaints were about the button functionality, or simply the fact that people didn't know to press the stop button and then later realized they had a larger than expected CC charge?
Curious who you went with? I have Monex readers but am frustrated with the count up end button functionality, I'm not interested in changing to count down, and so it's either continue with them with an external end button, or leave them all together and go with Nayax.
I've been back and forth via email about downgrading, and they've basically now told me they won't do it. My frustration with Monex is unmatched. To anyone considering them, don't do it.
I had my Monex readers auto update today without knowing and they've gone back to the "Press And Hold to Stop" feature which is a non-stop customer panic and complaint. I had specifically requested in May 2024 to downgrade my software version, which required a Monex approval before KioSoft would...
Glad this thread was created because similarly, I've reached out to Coinless about three times in the last few months with no response. Will check out the other options listed here.
