I have a laserwash 4000 not measuring the rear of the vehicles. It just goes all the way to the end of the track. Sometimes it works just fine. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!!
I have an issue with a Karcher unit giving me an error of 'Roofbrush counter incorrect counting". I have already replaced the roof brush counter a few months ago. I have looked at the cabling running to the machine but the wires that the roof brush counter runs in looks good. I even found 2...
I had a customer that used to have 6 D&S 5000's and replaced two of them with Quicksilvers, then built another wash with 2 i5000's. They have told me that they will never buy another Quicksilver but would buy the i5000. I have been to the D&S training and the "P.M" on a Quicksilver takes about...
As far as usage goes, Ecolab would suggest that you use 1oz per car, however I have set up machines using as little as 1/2oz. This biggest thing is to make sure that you are getting good coverage on the vehicle and also that the vehicle is getting dry. Right now I have 2 machines using Rain-X...
I have had the same issue before but it has bee awhile. We also had the breaker replaced but did not fix the issue. How many PSI are you running on the high pressure? We had hell with the unloader sticking and causing a bunch of issues. I can't remember what we did to fix it. I quit the...
Okay you guys can quit laughing now. I have an old R7B that seems to have lost its memory. I recently had to replace the end limit switch and after that the wash is running a little different. On top of that, it is hooked up to a Wash Select II with no Code-a-wash. Originally the wash would...
I work for Mark VII. I live in a remote area and have not had the chance to install or work with one yet but I have heard they are great. The controller is pretty simple to learn and the machine is pretty self reliant. What area are you from?
I have installed a few with a company that I used to work for. While they cleaned very well, they seemed like a pretty high maintenance machine. I still talk to one of the customers that I installed one for and they said they will never buy another one again. Start up was kind of a pain.
I have installed Rain-X in many car washes and have never had to use a certain product to get it to bond with the paint. I have even installed it where some of the products are not even Ecolab products. Shhhhhhhh.... Works great as long as the car is getting clean before the Rain-X application.
Not many Soft Glosses have a "presoak". And even if you are putting on a presoak, it is usually just a lubricant. I have seen many friction washes setup where the tri-color foam comes out first. I generally don't like them setup like that but it can save a pass and cut down on wash time.
