I have had this happen as well. The springs in the button are VERY stiff for this application. Replace them with the buttons in the link bellow.....softer springs. Just swap out the micro switchs that you have to the new buttons...

I suggest you add....Pick ups....Fold in side view mirrors. The extended ones they use for trailers will catch the arm.
