Attached is diagram showing which one and a picture of the sensor.
Any ideas for part number or if anyone has source for one. Can't read number on there.
The gearbox output shaft turns but the butterfly arms do not. The gears that keep the arms timed are fine. The trolly moves just fine, but the butterfly arms won't move. What connects the output shaft from the gearbox to the butterfly arms? I can move the arms just by pushing on them and...
Someone hooked onto a wash arm when driving out and forced the arms forward. Now the arms won't move. The motor and gearbox run that should move the arms, but they don't move. It looks like the gearbox shaft and the arms are held together just by friction bc it looks like the shaft stops...
I'm just a little under 2 years in and like to learn from those that have been thru things in SS and try to duplicate success and avoid failures. I'm someone that when I do something, I kind of go all in. Got 2 washes now and trying to buy as many as i can and looking to learn from experience...
Also, from reading it seems to be from the hopper switch, but I don't do returns and my hopper is empty. If that is the case, can i just disconnect it and it still operate?
@jack954 Did you ever figure this out? I have this same thing that just started. If I press the program button on the unit and acknowledge the alarm it goes away and may be fine for a few days or happen right away. I disconnected my coin and token inputs just to confirm wasn't those as well...

We use quest purple power presoak and it does an fantastic job at cleaning cars. Highly impressed, smells great, and customers love it. I would for sure recommend. If there is anything better that others have used, I'd love to know it.
Both Washes was just fine, but had no power for 6 days. Took opportunity to clean and repaint bc we just bought one 1 month before, so worked out well giving us an opportunity to have a dry wash for multiple days.
Now if the paint would only stay clean.
Another wash by us, had to roof come...
Yeah good call. If can't find something maybe can mill something out of aluminum just to block off little on each end. Thought someone may have a spare or know who made it.
