Just getting back from the show in Nashville and on my list was to look at S.S Dryers for my wash and the list was:

Air Shammee 2 (Diskin Systems)
Air Logic (Wasn't at the show)
Palm Dry (Premier Systems)
Turbo Towel Model 1 or 2 (J.E Adams)

I've had great success with Air Logic in the past at my previous wash until I had to work on it, but I always like to get opinions from others to be sure I'm not missing anything.

What are you guys thoughts on the single motor Shammee vs the 3 motor shammee? Are all the brands similar in terms of performance.

Same here. Installed in Jan and they've been getting a ton of use. Glad I installed them

What guns are people switching to?

I prefer the air logic. I also have some premier and they're OK and half the price of the air logic but will not survive being run over.

The diskin gun spike the amps over the motor nameplate rating when they occlude flow. That can't be good long term for the motor.

Matt,
Do always have the covers off of the motors? Did you ever consider mounting on the roof vs in the bay?

I didn’t buy the covers for the motors. Diskin said they were only for aesthetics. But I actually like the industrial appeal. Didn’t do the roof just bc I figured it couldn’t be the best for those motors to be sitting in the elements when it’s 110 during the summer, despite what they said. Also didn’t want to cut holes in my new roof.
