Wash select Cryptopay issue

Having an issue with one of my units. The one bay is about 50-50 for bad card swipes, including cryptotap. My initial thoughts were there is an issue with the swiper. I grabbed my spare off the shelf, installed it and when configuring it there is no option for Auto. Am I doing something incorrectly or when I ordered a spare did they send me the wrong swiper? Is there a way to identify via the number on the back? Going to check all my other swiper‘s but they all should have buttons on them.

The auto swipers will not have buttons on them, that's what make them auto specific I believe so you'll need to get one that's programmed for autos without a button to try a new unit. How long has this unit been in?

Well, no button on the swiper. It may require a tech to set it up as a Wash Select swiper which would be fine if there was Saturday tech support. Why it wouldn’t be a drop down menu selection on the configuration page I have no idea.
I’ll have to look Monday when that one was installed, but I’m thinking around a year.

I apologize, I mistook your original post then about the reader. I would assume, as you stated, you'll have to talk to their support with the ID on the back to config it to Auto then you can go forward from there. Hope you get it resolved quickly!
