I must be doing something wrong, cause I never have an issue with the washcard equipment lasting a long time. We are using readers that are 10 years old and still work fabulously in a high use environment

I have some of their swipers going on 10+ years. I haven't had any issues with their old single sided swipers nor their double sided ones.

I will say they are expensive. But, they seem to be the only company that is innovating for the SS market. Their tech support has always been prompt and helpful.

I think you should be able to replace the internal parts of the card readers, I recently had to replace one and I took the bad one apart the reader's heads were all that were bad on them and to replace those looks super simple.
