Vac started on its own

Went to wash this am and the vac is running.
I pulled the top off and hit the cancel button on the NEW timer.

I looked at the cameras and NO one used it ... Any idea why it would start and not shut off?

It could be a number of things. Could be a bad/faulty Timer, do you have a relay in the vacuum, it could that, could be you got hit with a power surge. Did it work like it should after you pushed the cancel button? What kind of timer and relay are you using?

I've had issues with the IDX timers coming on or staying on and would work properly after being reset. It doesn't usually happen again, or if it does it's maybe once a year.

I have a KR dip timer and Mercury Relay. I swapped out the times and same issue.

looks like its the coin accepted deal.. guessing water got it in or something. I tapped on it and now its working ????
