Having an issue with overlength faults in our laser 4000. We have turned up the gain on the amps and checked the shear bolt. Could anyone give detailed instructions on how to turn off the tbar heat? Would like to eliminate any interference issues to help pinpoint cause. Thanks!

Change the heat turn on temp to 0. I think it is in 80enter. You could also pull the small black relay that controls it, y43 I think. Also make sure the arch isnt blocking the front eye. You can take a reading on the voltage for the eyes. Look in the book to find out the values.

Thank you Jsobi, that is the info I was looking for! We recently replaced the carlo gavazzi eyes with Telco so I'm not sure if that has made a difference or not. I completely unhooked the tbar heat because we just don't need it with doors and a heated floor. So far so good. The problem has not repeated itself. Thank you for your response.
