Thought this article about thirsty concrete was kind of neat. Maybe if I can put some of this stuff in I won't need to clean the pits anymore? Lol.

Yeah, it doesn't work. City put similar stuff in the middle of the street. Looks like crap, it grows weeds, and doesn't "drink" very much

If you used that for the bay floor, it would probably clog up with dirt, sand and silt very quickly.
