I've had my carwash 8 years. Today a 2018 camaro convertible came through and the top brush pushed the back window through. The window pane didn't crack or break - it just pushed through. Ever heard of such? Of course, I have no way of knowing if were loose or what before it went through. Naturally, the owner wants me to pay for it. What do you think of this? Any recourse other than making a claim on my insurance ($1000 deductible)? Please advise!

first thing to check is for mfg recall notices . i quickly found this thread on a camaro message board. if there is a known problem with this model, car wash is not responsible.

This is where cameras pay for themselves. It is possible for any machine to do this if a customer drives into it.
